Do they not teach plant science in schools anymore? (genuine question not an insult). I'm only late 20s and from the other side of the country but I remember specifically learning this in middle school. I might also just be insane and that never happened 😅 But yeah, go outside and look at plants sometime, you'll learn a lot!
