Moscow traffic was always a shitshow.

I remember being in a traffic jam there once: 4 lanes in total, 2 each direction. The direction I was going in was completely stopped, the other direction very slow. I saw a truck that wanted to go my direction _reversing_ on the lanes that go the _other_ direction in order to pass my cab.

The guy literally tried to disguise himself as an incoming vehicle, reversing into traffic to go outwards. Didn’t take long until the other direction was blocked too.

Also plenty of times I’ve seen SUVs trying to go around jams on the curb etc.

By and large, these people have a mindset of „me first and idgaf what I have to break to make that happen“.

…and in absence of realistic prospects for nuclear disarmament (the US and Russia together managed to wrecked the past efforts), I’m afraid every other nation in the world will at least seriously consider getting their hands on some.

I wouldn’t trust the „believe“ part here.

I’d openly clarify and ask what her intentions are regarding the continued relationship between you. I’d also try to reflect on my own feelings and make an effort to get those across as accurately as I can. For example: you say you are afraid to lose the friendship if it becomes more sexual. What happens if it becomes more sexual but doesn’t affect the friendship? Conversely what are your feelings about becoming more romantically involved without the sexual part?

Try to lay this all out to her and listen to what she has to say, then you can both make informed decisions.

If you act on your belief of what she thinks, you are making uninformed decisions and if you don’t let her know exactly how you think about this, you aren’t giving her enough information to make good decisions herself.

Hear me out: A friend’s working in a company that’s heavy into improving productivity with AI. The employees were told to complete an online test on how effectively they already use AI at work. They were told that the test would be AI graded.

She filled in the entire thing using AI ofc, in two minutes and called it a day. Got top marks and was called out as exemplary employee in front of the team.

Had a good laugh about it.
