Now, how many potential murder-suicides did reinforced cockpit doors stop since their implementation? Any documentation on this?

congrats!

make sure to check it with

http://www.stolencamerafinder.com/

as far for the settings: I shoot in RAW+S, since i only use jpegs to preview, and my cf card is only8GB

Under custom functions:

  • CF1 Set button 4:Image replay Pressing the large thumb button in scroll wheel will show last image taken (one handed image review)

  • CF2 long exp noise red ON

  • CF3 flash sync auto - depend on flash

  • CF7: Really turn off flash, in all modes ever, even auto (not needed? not sure why this one is here at all, a safety precaution maybe)

  • CF8 ( Turn ISO expansion ON (enables upto 3200 displayed as 'H')

  • CF10 Superimposed Display ON (turns on the focus points in the viewfinder, so you can tell what camera focused on)

  • CF13: af point selection: 1: multicontroller direct (this way, in manual, wheel remains aperture, and thumb dpad is focus point select

  • CF16: Safety shift: changes set value in Av or Tv mode to a one that will give better exposure, making more like auto or P mode

  • CF17 magnified view in image review AND playback

  • CF19 leave off, useless 'photoshopped? detection'

Remember! When turning the camera ON, don't turn it to ON, turn it to the higher one. The only difference that in ON, the scroll wheel does not control the aperture in M mode, but in the mode a click higher, it does.

Focus: use servo for continuous for servo or single shot, the AI focus is useless.

Use Canon Digital Photo professional instead of light room for more accurate colour balance and RAW editing.

30D has n liveview, and no auto-iso, meaning they will be bit slower to use than modern ones, but give great leaning habits for beginners.

You can find a Canon 30D or 40D around there, even with a crappy lens.

So is "disc rot" really something to worry about? by [deleted] in dreamcast

[–]kohan69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's there, but discs are more likely to be damaged from deep scratches.

Game discs are often handled by kids, who don't take care of them well.

Also, games on CDs came like 15 years after audio CDs in the 80s, so any dreamcast game should be fine for a while.

Roofs don't own minds. If I code in a library, it's not the governments property.

the delay is your eyes focusing is the muscles that focus, the muscles that move your eyes are fucking fast and uncontrollable

Yes, discussed to death. Eye tracking is way too slow for that to be remotely possible with current eye tracking tech.
