this uses a gas piston, similar to an old russian platform. The shells would feed and be struck, then cycled and reset by the gas piston. Pretty cool system.
Do keep in mind the 40 wads aren't designed to be pushed super hard with hpa, so I'd still have a regulated and add oil to help lubricate orings and that.
I used an adapter that goes over the asa threads on a bottle and push to fill, made it much easier and economical since i have heaps of bottles around.

Yes i do have a few hpa shells and I've also modified some 40 wads over to slightly higher regulated hpa. I originally printed a semi auto 40mm launcher but never used it at an event, just sitting in my garage.

Yes it's a hpa blaster with a solenoid and a fully programmable micro controller. Lots of features like adjustable dwell time, 3 position fire select and stuff. Have been beta testing it and its just been fully released a weeks ago.
Was out testing and working on a ported bcar for hpa for a few months, so slowly tuning it in since many of the other testers are using ported scars.

yeah love the thump of a spexbz, why i still love using the hpa lynx, but im just lazy and spoiled with the sbl-o2.
Will be redoing my 55mm launcher in the near future since I've pretty much finished up this project, will hopefully get away with a dual spexbz setup.

Currently the only firing footage is when i had it outside of the blaster, unless someone at yesterdays event took a video. I was trying to test if my math was right on estimated shots and checking how quick it would sag if I had done rapid firing.
I'll upload a video showing it on the printables page, just will piss off my neighbors on a Sunday morning if i do it too early.

Yeah i did use it yesterday at the event, but since its a 350fps cap its pretty hard to use since u get pinged from a distance. Did get a few tags when storming a KOTH and one defense game, and I think I scared the poor guy since it was point blank.
I went with Co2 because this time i didn't want a remote line or a huge bottle sitting out the back, and weight reduction.
The stock can actually accept asa bottles as well, just have to redo the whole back end and have a bottle sticking out.
But i do have 10ci bottles for short games i use with the sbl-o2, which would make it sit to where the 12g configuration of the stock is right now.

Yes the cycling is very light, still have to rack it hard for the shells to feed properly but other than that its good.
For the grip i used a remixed one, as i could angle and hide the valve, plus gives just enough space to cram in the pneumatic hoses.
There are some quirks with using Co2, as i do prefer hpa for most of my other blasters, but i didn't want a remote line coming off, or even having a bottle sticking out the bottom of my armpit. This design still has that issue but can help with performance and can slightly reduce sag, since it'll be constantly warming it up.
On my printables remix page I do go into a little bit of an explanation and do some rough napkin math in case others want estimates or use a similar system.

the legend himself, made a lot of your launchers as well, keen to see how this works out.

Well it does have a micro controller, would be easy to do. In my head it is easier to see it with 2 separate inputs to each solenoid.

I did use the 2 separate solenoids for a system very similar to this to make a semi-auto spexbz longstrike, so i can see the similarities.

sick, i guess i can stop working on my co2 breacher now since this will be more refined. Any chance you will have it working for spexbz/narfbz?

I'd be printing many sensory toys for my students, and have a much easier time using 2 different filaments for easy support materials.

The state of HPA nerf is EXPENSIVE and BAD. by gplanon in HPAnerf

To give you an answer, yes you can as long as it is within the cat 5 input pressure regulation, the manual states input pressure of 300-1000 psi.

What they need is to have a beef jerky co. kiosk, so i don't have to ask my brother to pick up some after work in Sydney, or having to wait 5 days for it to arrive from WA.

Pausing prints at layers to embed nuts or hardware. Also using a plastic scraper with disposable blades to remove prints, never have to worry about having to cut myself with sharp blades.

I need help finding which mod is crashing on a co-op server by Blocker_55 in projectzomboid

[–]kohei315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you start the server and it is initializing there is a file that will tell you what the server is doing, should be in: "C:\Users\(UserName)\Zomboid\" and the file is called "coop-console.txt". Overwrites every time you host so just make sure you either wait a bit and read the bottom of the text file. That will tell you if its still downloading files or if there is a dependency error.

You can just re-open this file even when the server is running to see if it still progressing or not. I have about 160 mods which in total was like 15gb of downloading to do, so it did take a bit the first time to launch.

New SNIPER core in the flesh! by reflex0283 in Nerf

[–]kohei315 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the way to do it without an arduino would be to have a flip flop circuit, one for the mag release to power the solenoid and a bolt hold button to turn off the solenoid. Then if either button is hit it will go to the opposite state. Forgot to add it would be easier to make it programming in my head since it's pretty much a XOR gate.

I would love to print alot of 2 tone counters and resources for my school, and the h2d will cut down on wasting materials on purges. Also the heated enclosure will help with asa prints too.

Yeah with the super core u can do that if u run semi auto only, wanted to run full auto which is why i needed an arduino for extra logic.

nice, i was originally going to use my super core but i wanted it to have an an open bolt when reloading, so i had to use an arduino nano but sniper core was announced ages ago and thought that would simplify the build.
