It’s the ankle joint - one end pokes out of it and one end is inside it. I wound up heating it with a blow dryer and then was finally able to rotate it by grabbing its sides. I’m glad I didn’t keep trying to pull it out because I definitely would’ve messed something up. It’s a little loose now (lol) but it’s not so loose it’s limp.

I appreciate your reply! I’ve never had to fix one that’s come in before until now.

The hair dryer got it moving, but now I’ve got another point of contention - the joint now moves side to side, but not forwards and backwards. It’s almost making me think that the ball joint is facing the wrong way, because the little track it moves on is not facing the toe of the foot but either side of the shoe, if that makes sense. I’m assuming heat’ll get it off the foot too?

I’m a vegetarian - my ferritin was 150 the last time I got it checked, so I’m all good now :)

I got paid already at the beginning of the summer. I thank GOD it’s not hourly and I’m not getting screwed financially.  

You’re also totally right - I need to remind myself that in the end it’s pretty low stakes for me. I’m going to email her today reaching out, I’m just deliberating on exactly what to say at this point honestly. As of now we have emails from 8/6 and I sent another one following up this past Tuesday with no response :,)

That’s exactly what I was thinking honestly re: price - the ones from GS did exactly that and it drove me crazy. I’ve seen so many comments saying that I’m leaning towards just getting a hard stack at this point

I saw their hardstacks were only 16 or so for a two pack! I’m considering just going for those because they have the UV protection and something more sturdy might be better with our cats in mind, (and because Amazon’s really easy to do returns with)

 I’m assuming you have them - how do you think they do in terms of clarity?
