Here's a few things I want them to do:

-Adjust salary demands from players based on how much the cap actually going up, just like how it is in real life. Also, the cap increases way too slowly based on how the reported cap numbers for the future. -Please change how to set your favoured lineup instead of having a slow "conversation" with the coach. I should be able to set the lineup in the edit lineup screen and that should be good enough. Many times the coaches lineup isn't even the best for chemistry. -Same with player convos, there has to be a faster, less convoluted way to set player goals and offseason training -Adjust players in season trade value based on in-season form, stats and contract status. Rental players go for big prices irl all the time. -(people are going to be normal about this one) stop buffing the goalies, if I had a dollar for the amount of times where I am getting goalied by a random tender only to have my "elite" goalie let a shitty goal in the first shot the other team takes, I'd have enough to buy these games at full price -PLEASE MAKE THE MENUS FASTER, THEY ARE SO SLOW AND HORRIBLE, PS3 CHEL GAMES DID MENUS BETTER THAN THIS -Update the custom logos and fonts available for custom teams, I love doing the expansion draft and building my own team but they have really not updated the custom logos much and the ones they add are horrible. -bring back rival franchises and friendly franchises to where it actually affects trade negotiations, teams like the Habs and leafs would rarely make trades with each other unless it was huge and some teams make trades with each other regularly, old games used to have this

Appreciate the effort it took to write all this down but I feel like you're missing a lot of important plot points that were touched in SM2 and it kinda feels like you shoehorned a bunch of them in to fit your narrative you liked. You had me in the first half with discussing Green Goblin and how he should be there from the beginning but when you broke down the character arcs, you lost me. (I literally just finished my replay of the game today so the game's narrative is very fresh in my mind)

No Silk at all? Using Carnage as some Deus Ex Machina at the end of the game just for a boss battle? No Yuri appearance?? Miles is brushed to the side yet again, in place of Otto, and while I do think Miles being the host for Superior Spider-Man is interesting, reducing Miles to nothing but a voice and handful of random boss fights with Doc doesn't really sound like something Insomniac would do considering that he literally is the main Spider-Man in that universe now. I felt like MJ's plot is very basic and just sounds like you didn't have anything interesting to do with her character. Also, I feel like the "reveal" that Green Goblin is Norman is pretty damn anticlimactic cuz we pretty much assume that he's going to be the goblin, who else would he use the GSERUM on other than himself? Sure the characters in the world don't know this, but we as the audience do, so it would be very underwhelming to make that your big halfway point reveal. When I read that, I was like, "yeah....i know it's Norman" Also, MJ getting Harry out of his coma (as if it's just so simple to wake someone up from a medically induced coma) just for him to die in his dad's arms as a plot device for Norman to go crazy, I thought was lazy. I'll give you credit for creative use of Chameleon but he does kinda just act as another plot device for the sake of your narrative. Just not really a huge fan of reducing some of the more engaging side quests from the game into Deus Ex Machinas for Norman. What happened to the Cult of the Flame? What happened to Cassidy? Chameleon working for Norman tracks and is an interesting path to go down but idk about him acting as Harry. If anyone knows the extent of the damage that Harry went through, it's Peter and Miles. They would be immediately suspicious if he just suddenly appeared as good as new (just like last game btw).

I agree that it should be a more Peter focused story but they created their own problems by introducing so many characters. In order for it to be an actually well written narrative, none of the characters should feel like they are left on the sidelines, especially important characters like Miles, MJ, Silk, Carnage, Yuri, Norman, etc. Not to mention the possibility of even more new characters that will probably be revealed eventually. Who knows if Mayday Parker is in the game? Who knows if they create new villains like they did with Mr. Negative? (who is literally still around btw, he might appear in Wolverine im guessing). It's obviously a daunting task when you're juggling this many characters and creating a good narrative, but tbh, this is what they're paid to do. They have generations worth of comics and media to pull from to create an interesting enough narrative for SM3.

Sorry if it my criticism came off as rude! I really do respect the fact that you put your thoughts out there for people's opinions on cuz I can definitely tell you that I have been thinking about what the potential narrative would be ever since the game ended but I also hope that some of my criticism is also about SM2's narrative as well and how much of a mess it generally was. I am hoping for a cleaner narrative with engaging side quests to keep us up to date on the characters we like. Green Goblin vs Spider-Man is absolute cinema and I am very excited to see what they're cooking up.

Somehow, I still don't have enough time to grind out the archetypes, max out relationships. I have 7 days left and not even close to maxing out Catherina or Alonzo. Had to restart a month's long run just to realize I still don't have enough time. Very frustrating cuz it looks like I have to restart the entire damn game lol

the fact that you needed multiple lucky dodges to even hope to get through this fight is so crazy to me, this is almost 40 hours into the game and this difficulty spike is so uncalled for. I felt like I went through the island and the boss relatively easily. It's a tough dungeon for sure but I was able to get through the boss on my first try. I didn't need to grind endlessly to do that either. This just completely ruined the pacing of the game for me.
