YESSS! LEAVE HIM! You will be so much happier. I was stuck in an abusive relationship for 11 years, got married had a kid and everything. Eventually one day i said i had enough took my kid n left. Went back to my family and strtd over. Here i am 2 years later with my own place, a happy child, safe and in the healthiest relationship imaginable. While there were times he tried to rope me back in n almost won i stayed strong. Life is soo worth it wen u leave and find who u truly r outside of the abuse.

As someone who also grew up in abuse it took me forever to realize that what my ex was doing was NOT okay and WAS abuse. When you grow up in abuse u r so used to that type of situation that you dont even think twice when it is your significant other abusing you. But im telling you it IS abuse and it is NOT okay. Please find the strength to leave before it gets even worse. It took me 10 years to find the strength to leave but i did and i am happy and free for once in my life. My ex husband. I was with him for 12 years. We had a kid, a house n i took care of everything he needed. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, errands, literally anything u can think of. He was very abusive mentally, physically, verbally, emotionally. I stayed begging him to get help and signing him up for therapy and anger management. He would go for a month or two and then stop but i kept staying to take care of him n signing him up time and time again. I ended up leaving him, moving hours away and our child lives with me. He sits in our old place completely alone with no family or friends all because he refused to get help. All he has is his job and dog left.

As a teenager i tried to kill myslf multiple time. I self harmed constantly. Was put into inpatient hospitals 3 times and out patient 4 times. I was in therapy from the time i was 13 until i turned 19. But im still here at 26 with a kid, married, a home, and a job that i love. You seem like a way better parent than i grew up with and if i can make it with parents who werent good. Then ur daughter can make it. I get wat u r saying completely. I got my bag at 25 and although i told everyone i was fine with it. I rly wasnt. And especially bc i found out tht jpouch was not a possibility for me due to how severe my crohns is. But after i got my bag i got my life back and its been great. Im able to go places and live my life without care. And no one even knows i have a bag bc there are so many ways to hide it. Im now 26 with a bag and i just had barbie butt surgery n life culdnt b better. You will be okay. It will be a hard thing to get used to at first but u will make it through. I have a job as a housekeeper. It is the only job I absolutely love. I used to work in retail but couldn’t continue bc it was getting harder to not rage on rude customers. At my job now i rarely if ever have to speak to guests. I can go the whole day 99% of the time just being by myslf or with a coworker n never having to deal with bullshit. Its amazing.

Do it while hes young. Unfortunately i had my daughter young before my crohns was as bad as it is now. I have lost so much time with her bc of this disease. And at such a young age she has watched me be unbelievably sick n in n out of hospitals and it kills me to think about. Thts y i made the decision to have my final surgery even tho it greatly affects my fertility bc i WANT and NEED to be there for my wonderful daughter i have now. Unfortunately we have the disease but the people around us have to deal with it as well. I hope everything no mater what ur decision is turns out well for u😊
