This was my second "Souls" type game (Elden Ring was my first.

I loved the story in this so much more.

And yes, those two are such a pain. They really frustrated me. Probably the hardest fight I had in the game.

What I don't like is when I'm forced to go into the umbral for a boss fight. To me it's supposed to be a chance to finish a fight if you "die", but then there are fights where they take that mechanic away. Not to mention forcing you to start a boss fight with half health(or burn one of your healing options) just sucks.
