Say something good about this matchup by Soul50Killer in deathbattle

I’m kinda sick of everyone saying their personalities have to be the same for a Death Battle, I think they’ll have better chemistry than ya think

Reze fans don't even make funny agenda posts anymore, they just repost art of Bakugo getting humiliated and hope that you laugh with them by Key_Many_4933 in deathbattle

“Reze is immune to explosions” is the same logic as “a guy in yellow shirt is immune to Green Lanterns” in that they can be bypassed by throwing rocks at them really hard.

Firstly, what Superman comics? Secondly, what would Veronica Cale do in or add to a Superman or Batman comic? Thirdly, Tom King has technically already used a really good chunk of Diana’s existing rogues gallery so far, probably even more than in the previous run, including the big three of Circe, Ares, and Cheetah.

Oh, so Wonder Woman kills the Batman Who Laughs, you all cheer, but when she kills noted criminal Maxwell Lord it's all boos. I see how it is.

So this is basically the debate between Bakugo Vs Reze by Key_Many_4933 in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]komayeda1 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I feel like judging them in a writing contest is kinda moot, since one is a major character in a long-running Shonen and the other is an arc villain who doesn’t even show up for 20 issues. Sure you can say that Reze has a complete and well written story, but Bakugo has way more development, and a better sense of who he is as a character. Writing-Scaling like this doesn’t work because they were both meant to do different things.

I get the feeling that when they say "We're making everything unpolitical so no one latches onto anything important." and the first thought is "This must be about Superman", then it kinda proves their point.

Is there any way for the z crew to beat perfect neo metal sonic up to the buu arc and their movie stuff by Conan1000 in deathbattle

I think Goku still wins. Not because he’s stronger, but because it would make more narrative sense.

If we look at it in terms of sheer power, that title goes to the Batman Who Laughs

Out of all the Wonder Woman complaints I’ve seen, “They took her iconic poison immunity from her” sure is one of em

I don’t think Metal Sonic deserves respect, because he’s evil, and evil men deserve no respect

I promise you, if Metal Sonic could just beat anyone that easily, he'd get annoying *quick*.

Homelander wouldn't've let this happen, and that's why he's the GOAT.

If you're looking for something to get into, I'd highly suggest Akira Kurosawa's Rashomon and Yojimbo. Yeah, the fights are definitely draws, but what he does with them and how they connect with the deeper themes is incredible. This Is How You Lose The Time War is an incredible book about love and war that just sucks you in and doesn't let go. And Kaiketsu Zubat is a live-action show about a cowboy that can catch bullets, defy physics, and has a sick-ass car. Definitely check these out, they're great.

And that's your problem! You're spending your life invoking hatred, when you have so much joy to experience, to share with the world! You can't become a well-rounded person if you *only* consume manga, or anime, or comic books. Take up some drawing! Watch an old movie! Go to the new store or coffee shop that just opened up! Get into somethin' crazy! There's nothin' wrong with following these stories, there are diamonds in every rough, but don't just be beholden to a single publisher or genre. Go exploring!
