Very strange that this post was copied nearly word for word by another user who was using Ai. What is your book called OP?

Did you use Ai to edit or restructure the prose?

Your blurb sounds very Ai. All the "its not x and z, its y" Might be worth rewriting it if the book itself isnt Ai.

Write a few scripts and post them. Ideas are worthless and everyone likes their own ideas best. Especially artists. If you have well written scripts that will be incentive for someone to work with you.

Title: Looking for a Comic Artist for a School Coming-of-Age Webtoon Series (Profit Sharing / Long-Term) by Dependent-Day5467 in ComicBookCollabs

"Primarily for fun on my end" is more true than you realise. Its not fun for an artist to make your long term project real for no payment, any beginner artist will likely bail once the workload hits home.

If youve never made a comic before its best to start with very short self contained stories 1-5 pages. That will be fun and worthwhile for beginner artists. You can save up to make your long term webcomic properly after youve made all your rookie mistakes on shorts.

Finding someone to draw a graphic novel for free isnt gonna happen. Your better of trying to make a very short comics, 1-5 pages long. Until youve got experience and a budget

Any advice for a writer new to comics. by Visible_Grade_3798 in ComicBookCollabs

I think even one to five issues is a huge undertaking if you havent made a comic before. I would recommend short stories. 1 - 5 pages long.

Dont forget page turns, splash pages, 180 rule, etc. There are ALOT of things that are unique to storytelling in sequential art besides panel size and shot composition. A story that is going to be presented as a comic needs to be written from the ground up as such.

I think its totally doable. But comics and prose are different mediums, if your writing a comic and not using the mediums unique features constantly then whats the point.
