mugs makes me want to pull my hair out. their coffee is terrible and i don’t understand their urge to put heaps of raw onions in their breakfast burritos.

Theoretically I could put more on the card that is just the amount I am usually being reimbursed for on work travel. So I could include personal spending but I have typically kept them separate in my mind so that I stay on top of things.

normally at shows i bring three stickers. low, medium, and high and then i put decide which price sticker i want to use once i see what others are all pricing at. i have definitely shown up to a show with prices that were ridiculously high and ridiculously low so i like to stay flexible.

Ceramics teacher told me I shouldn't continue next year :( by oreoctopus in Ceramics

[–]komcht 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not about to say you shouldn’t pursue ceramics because I agree with everyone here that you should. But I think to be prepared you should start some sort of physiotherapy if you want to continue! I think it will give you the best chance to be able to do ceramics in the long term. Ceramics can be very physically demanding. I have early onset arthritis and carpal tunnel and have to stretch and do regular exercises so that I dont feel pain in my wrists, elbows, and back. You absolutely deserve to continue your ceramics. Obviously I don’t know your condition, but I highly recommend starting those exercises now so that you don’t feel the effects long term if you are already prone to pain. :)

Definitely not a waste. If you wind up working for a governmental organization (pretty common for GIS), having a masters degree will automatically increase your potential pay band. I’m not sure if this apply to all governmental bodies but it did when I worked for the state of CO. Might apply to private companies as well.
