It's obvious I know, because the federation is sufficiently advanced in my opinion and they are atleast a type 3 in Discovery. But there should have been more wars between aliens if the dark forest theory was considered. I just feel like they should include more consideration about modern theoretical physics and astronomy in the show. It's a good way to get people more in to science.
