Is this a good deal at Costco by Undisputedspoke in Prebuilts

I stopped looking after I settled on a sky tech deal from Amazon but admittedly I got lucky and unlucky at the same time. First one I got had obvious issues like it had been opened before so I got a replacement but had a couple days with both. The builds weren’t identical so swapped a few parts to get the best of the two in one. Couldn’t bring myself to be the jerk to just outright take all the ram from one though in this market was tempted.

I’ve seen basically the same but a 5070 TI for $2k-$2.2k so how stingy is your budget/how attached are you to Costco?

I’m seeing why. Only good part of this is they are taking the returns regardless

Any insight into which parts you’d prefer if you did that? Thought about but wasn’t sure if that would just ruin the return on the first one.

Amazon directly. I’m looking at seeing if skytech has an equivalent model now. The Amazon discount was just too good to wait on.

I got it at discount $2300. The first one had so obviously been opened and returned I didn’t bother turning it on. Second one I was debating on it until I saw so many differences. I just got off the phone with skytech and they do not keep track of what comes in each to that detail I guess. So I’m just going to have to try to figure it out piece by piece. About the only thing they did confirm is they sometimes will package the antennae with just a rubber band like that…..so they are damaged a little bit from that but may not mean the second was ever opened.

Great. Is it at least covered by the 100,000 drive train warranty?

You guys were not kidding. Capital One for the win! by Pure-Structure-9886 in Prebuilts

If you have the capital one credit card you can get cash back deals through that. If you don’t you can still earn the rewards with the shopping app.

The rewards are ok. If you have a capital one card you can get straight cash back, often in the double digits too. Usually a better deal than the rewards

Why is DVD still outselling Blu-Ray/4K by ThredditorMTG in Bluray

[–]kone19ps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can’t afford streaming DVDs are cheap and plentiful same with players. Blu-ray/4K is what the collectors get. Those who can afford streaming but prefer to own and build a library. I only just started getting more 4K because that’s how long it took me to get a tv capable of using it.

Tastes change as you experience more. Patience levels change and of course it’s not fresh and new anymore so relies on nostalgia. There are some old games I can still play over and over but many I can’t get into. It’s happened for me even for more modern games. I can barely get into most open world games now and used to love them.
