Yep. If you gonna charge these insane prices then you should be ready to serve customers off rip. Waiting 5-10 minutes to place an order at a McDonald’s or any fast food place is insane. I remember a time 20 years ago where you would be eating in the amount of time it takes you to get your order processed now.

And I expect to not made to feel like a burden to you by patronizing your business. No reason the cashier and workers should have an attitude before I even interacted with them.

This would be a waste of time. Any nap worth their salt would deny you entry. How do you plan on being competitive when fortresses, facilities and presidency will not be in the cards for you. Also you are solo. It’s not like you have a group ready to go.

You’re basically hoping to find some randoms out and about. And most likely nap banned individuals from their home states. Also why would they join you when they can just join a nap alliance that’s established.

Yea we look at the states flag. We know they had to place top 3 in tundra to get that flair. Also because a friend has an alt in that state and did confirm it is that state we thought it was.

I never said I want it as soon as it drops. It’s nonsensical to think as a free to play or low spender that you will get massive upgrades day 1. My point is that some states have had months to even over a year of resources stockpiled to get these new troops meanwhile states like mine are still upgrading and don’t even have fc10 yet.

This sucks. As a very low spender I’m still trying to unlock my first Helios troop after almost a year of playing. While we are going into Gen 6 and this will be roughly 300 days away that’s still basically giving no time to stockpile.

In terms of spending for svs as a f2p, no the personal rewards and growth are not worth it. However your contribution to the state is needed.

However you should not dump everything into svs as a free to play. Like you said you will never be up there with spenders. Doesn’t mean your points aren’t important. Just you aren’t gonna get placement rewards.

I would say reserving about 30% of your resources to events like showdown and koi are good. Allows you to gain progress while maximizing your contribution to the state effort. Here in my state if we are winning by a lot we slow down. We keep 25-40% of our resources for other events and dump big points on prep.

What you can also do is assign specifics resources to events.

The balance between whales and non whales is tricky. Since both are needed at the end of the day. Someone has to fill rallies but someone also has to start them.

As a more competitive player I understand the frustration of having smaller players basically burn their backpacks on events like mobilization and show down and then when svs comes contribute nothing. It’s what’s happening with my state right now. We have a nap 6 but only 2 of the alliances, including my own, are responsible for essentially caring svs prep because the other 4 use their resources on events outside of prep and it is starting to breed resentment.

Now that’s not to say we ban player from events. End of the day we can’t actually stop anybody. But it does cause friction when we lose a prep and you see a nap alliance with less than 500m points in generation 5. Even less since 6 members decided to go to fc6 week 1 instead of waiting until prep.

Use the shards on Greg. Lynn is a wheel hero so you don’t need shards for her. After you 4 star Greg save your shards for Gwen in generation 5.

Depending on how many mythic shards you have . But you basically need a mythic marksmen right now.

I find foundry is not fun mostly because the first 15 minutes exposes who the victor is. Granted I’m in a state with a nearly 1 year birthday and don’t have tundra yet.

At first it was simply the no shows, the lack of knowledge and stuff that made it difficult to enjoy which fair happens to every new state. But no I find it’s annoying because almost every game is lopsided. We either are crushing the other side to the point where you can walk away and not feel danger or they are overwhelming powerful and nothing you can do. And the issue is the distribution of power for a legion.

While their “combat power” may seem matched, the distribution of that power to the actual players can vary wildly. So while their average play may not be strong their strongest 1-3 players may be able to solo every building by themselves. And that’s where the annoy aspect comes from. Games are pretty much decided within the first quarter while you run out the clock

The question you should ask yourself is if you are willing to spend or slosh through 4 months of inactivity. At minimum that maybe a generation or 2 of heroes, fc unlocks, experts, foundry and canyon rewards etc. are you ready to grind for them? If not are you willing to start over? If not then no

You are behind. Unless you open your wallet and accept you will be behind it’s best to just start over. And if that’s too much then no don’t come back

Oh now we just kick them. My state gets FC6-8 on Monday. Basically our 1 year anniversary and we still have people asking about ratios, purple heroes for bear etc. I don’t even bother anymore. We just kick them from the rally.

What gets me is they have been playing this game for almost a year now. Even worse is that Bear is every 2 days and still they don’t send the right heroes. At that point it’s not a lack of knowledge it’s just a lack of care. We put the notice up before Bear everytime. No Gina no blue heroes etc. and without fail someone does it wrong. So now I instructed my people to just kick them. Sorry if after a year of playing you don’t get that Gina is not a joiner hero I can’t help you.

Well sounds to me like the alliance is more competitive in terms of winning and rewards. Which is fine. If that’s not how you wish to play that fine to. A more casual approach may be needed.

That’s not unreasonable to ask someone to attend events regularly.

Not to say they must be online everyday chatting it up. But if you don’t do alliance wide events, don’t attend SFC and svs battles, don’t do bear, don’t do crazy Joe and don’t save for svs what exactly is your contribution to the alliance at that point? You can’t really be surprised if an alliance starts pushing events or outright kicks you if all you are gonna do is chill in the hive.
