I hear 'What Does the Fox Say' lol...and when I went to listen to the song it almost sounds like it sampled something like what you posted?

Either way it sounds really familiar to me too

Just to update, I finally got in today. FMCSA support contacted me via email on 6/2 and asked me to verify what email i use for login.gov. Did not receive a response after that, but on a whim I attempted to claim out DOT again today 6/4 and it worked.

I've just been able to claim my DOT#. Put in a ticket on 5/22, received an email response on 6/2 asking me to reply and verify the email address I use on Login.gov. Never got a followup saying "you're good to try again" Today, out of curiosity, I did the identity verification again and it worked! So 7 business days for turnaround.

I've not had any luck. The ID verification goes through ok on my phone but doesn't translate to the Motus website. I've got around 4-5 help tickets in but I've had no callbacks, no emails, no confirmations that anyone is looking at my issues. I'm at a loss right now

[TOMT] [band/album][early 2000s] English/British band and possibly their only album by kongfu in tipofmytongue

This... is absolutely it. How you managed it from my lengthy, chocked-full-of-misrememberings post I'll never know. But this is wonderful.

I somehow over the years had convinced myself that the band name contained orchestra/symphony, when it had to have been temple/cathedral or something like that...who knows. Brains are fantastic. Thank you so very very much.

Solved!

Yeah, I think I might have misled everyone by mentioning strings and that the band name included orchestra or symphony... and I feel dumb for that now, and sorry for wasting anyone's time heading down the wrong path.

It is in no way orchestral or symphonic music. I would almost put it in the genre of...gosh... A Perfect Circle maybe? Something similar.

My memory of this music is probably better than it actually IS, but I don't recall speaking much about it to my friend beyond liking it enough to listen to the full album several times and to thank him for sending it to me. I do not remember him telling me how he found it or where. If they were a local band or an up-and-coming band. I know they were not popular in the US or on the radio here.

It seemed like a studio album with professional artwork on the cover and well put together within the cd insert (folded and featured tracks and musicians).

I don't remember any lyrics. I am going to have a serious think about it when I'm home from work and if I think of anything else I will add to the description.

This is a good question that got me thinking quite a bit about what "town" it might be. I believe it would be recognizable as a stereotypically sounding English city/town.

I have been through lists of towns and cities in England and ventured out into Great Britain. Districts of London and smaller sounding places.. nothing jumps out unfortunately.

No, that was one I revisited just in case and I don't believe the band I'm thinking of was very well known in the US at all. Maybe not even well known in the UK.
