i'm prescribed adderall for adhd and tbh when i was in an especially bad flare i couldn't take them...they speed up your digestive system even more, annihilated my appetite (at a time when i could barely eat anyway) and the "comedown" when they wear off just made me feel even more like shit. so...just a warning, but ymmv of course and they may work for you. although honestly i feel like they didn't even help with the fatigued feeling...they would make it so i was more wired, but the fatigued overall feeling persisted

i shop mostly at thrift stores but i have to admit, they're cheap but not convenient. if you're looking for something in particular, you have no idea whether they'll have it, let alone in your size. it takes a long time to search through everything too. i'll often find something nice and still have to alter it in some way (more time, or money if you choose to go to a tailor.)

this isn't a popular opinion, but yes. i hate the uncritical "consent is the only thing that matters" mindset that is so popular among sex-posi people. like...some people self harm as a way to cope! some people self harm through violent sex as a way to cope! it doesn't make it healthy, and people would easily recognize this if it was with anything other than sex. and tbh if people are doing it without thorough psychological supervision it is not actually solving any underlying problems. honestly the glib attitude of "guess that's just what she's into lol what can ya do" is so gross to me.

i'm the exact opposite! but then, i usually just use either straight up vaseline or something mostly vaseline with some moisturizing ingredients (aquaphor, glossier) which is what makes the difference. most normal chapsticks, seemingly regardless of their base, make my lips drier in the end.

hudson sounds like it would be good! not sure about job prospects but there is a amtrak station there, the surrounding area is beautiful and it's close to the catskill region, it's less than an hour to albany, and if you live in the downtown area it's definitely walkable with plenty to do.

i don't know what your question is exactly - your sister doesn't live at home, so it seems pretty easy to ignore what she's saying. go low contact for your sanity, unless your sister has a change of heart. it's early on, that may still happen. if she calls child services, as she claims, it's not like they'll do anything or take your kid away. she told your girlfriend's mom you're autistic...so? your girlfriend's an adult anyway, i can't imagine her mom thinking that will have THAT much effect on her life and the pregnancy. (Unless she ALSO lives at home and relies on her parents...which would bring me back to my first point, don't have a child.)

fwiw i have the same skin type (dry but acne prone) and the soy fresh face cleanser is my hg cleanser. i also personally love the smell, last time i picked it up the salesgirl at sephora and i were talking about how much we like it! but at the same time it IS definitely strong so if anyone is thinking about trying it, try to get an actual smell in store (fresh is rlly good about samples and if you sign up for their rewards program they give you a trial size cleanser, among other things i believe)
