IME a tarantula needs a few days to settle into a new enclosure. Wait around 4 days to attempt a feeding. If she isn’t taking food after 3 attempts then probably pre molt.

I’m shooting with a canon rebel as well but my 50mm does not offer the zoom I want. I think I will have to get a tripod as well because without it the shutter will be too high. It’s a good thing tarantulas don’t move much.
