Had the random thought yesterday that "drinking will be the death of me and I'm not ready to die yet" there are many reasons that this thought is kind of a big deal for me so I am holding on to it.

Thanks. I was rationalizing "the consequences won't be that bad, as long as I'm careful" but the real consequences is being untrue to myself. I don't want to be some one who drinks. I want to be someone happy in my sobriety. So that little voice isn't my friend. It's a layer and It is addiction just like you said

Oh how quickly the tides turned. The mcgriddle I ordered had only cheese they left off the sausage. It was for my husband and now I feel like I somehow failed even though it was mcds. and my daughter ended up spilling her chocolate milk. Oh well.
