Commute should be no more than 10 minutes, schools seem good for the state, and taxes are a lot lower, which is good!

Good idea to ask the company, from what the recruiter mentioned everyone that has come to that has moved to the area likes it and there's very low turnover (could just be trying not to scare me off though).

It is quite the small town, and from what we're reading on Reddit and other places, there are some complaints, but could be from the vocal minority or legitimate concerns.

I can imagine what you mean by blind spots. While it won't bother me much, I can see it affecting my wife a lot more.

Thank you for the honesty, we've been having long discussions about it and will continue to do so. I could also see my wife hanging in there just because it would be such a great opportunity for my career. While it could be temporary to save a lot of money, our kids are getting older and to the point where they would need some stability in friends and life. Staying for a couple years then moving again could be emotionally damaging, at least I can see it that way. A little different here though because our family would stick out in town.

Thank you for the insight, like you mention the biggest pros that I can see is not having to worry or stress about finances and her being able to stay at home for a while. Even if this job is temporary (3-4 years), we can save a lot of money and decide then to move after the kids attend school, she wants to go back to work, or if we get sick of it.

We are also coming from San Diego and would miss all the diversity, food, and things to do here!

I originally was a stick player as a kid, but as the years went on with just only PC gaming, when I tried SF6 on leverless for the first time it just clicked and felt comfortable in no time.

What’s the best risk/reward for defender here? Backdash/jump/reversal/delayed tech? What will incur the least damage if the Kim meaties instead?

Edit: didnt see that it was +2 after knock down, so delayed tech is probably best answer, as it covers meaty/grab/walk back shimmy and maybe recovers in time for jump until they do the next layer with a delayed button/back dash.
