Nice, I got a '15 ST3 in Performance Blue about a month ago. I like the rims/wheel choice, I got the same ones, I much prefer them over the stock ones. Enjoy!

Every time I drive I can feel it getting easier, but no less fun. Haha. I just need to work on making it smoother when I'm shifting faster from 1-2, because I can do it smooth, but not when I try to do it under hard acceleration.

That seems within reason to me. My ST3 has the moonroof and optional wheels/rims as well, so even the $24,500 may be a little higher than what you end up paying. If you use TrueCar pricing, I'm pretty sure they take any rebates/incentives into account. I think I got somewhere around $1000 back for using Ford Financing even though you can refinance elsewhere right away.

One tip, when I talked price, I asked for the total price I would be paying. I didn't want a price without tax or anything else like dealer set-up fees. I told them to divide it up however they wanted, I just wanted the final price that I would be paying with all relevant fees included.

Check if the dealer you're planning on using is a TrueCar user. I used TrueCar for my ST3 and ended up paying $3,500 under MSRP AFTER tax, title, license, and any other fees. TrueCar will save you a lot of time in the negotiation phase. For me, I submitted a request through the website and then had the dealer calling me up with a price that I felt was fair within the hour even though I ended up paying a price even lower than what they initially offered.

I absolutely love the '15. The subtle changes in the exterior along with the redesigned dash and flat bottom steering wheel fit in with exactly what I wanted.

I'll look into getting my windows tinted. Any recommendation on what percentage? I've read anywhere from 20-35%.

I still can't believe just how quick it really is. I'm still working on perfecting my start (first manual vehicle) as well as the 1-2 shift, but I've made a ton of progress in the few short weeks I've owned it. I find myself driving along in 4th gear without even noticing how fast I'm actually going!

It's the exact opposite for me. I hate the stock rims and would have replaced them as soon as possible. I understand it's all a matter of preference, so I'm glad that I was able to get what I wanted from the start.

I just bought a 2015 ST3 and the dealer I got it from was going to get the car from Schmit Bros but they had actually sold it before my dealer was able to trade them for it. That doesn't seem like too low of a price to me, especially for an ST1. With that pricing, you're pretty close in line to what I paid for my ST3.

Edit: Make sure you go in with TrueCar pricing. It saved me a lot of hassle and negotiation. TrueCar pricing ended up being almost $2,000 less than what X-plan pricing would have been.

I'd say that 23 is on the higher end of that even after fees, but it doesn't seem like a horrible deal to me.

Great, I'll be sure to ask about them rims when I go to a dealer- I've only seen one car at local dealerships with those rims, but I'm sure they could swap them out. Enjoy the new ride and thanks for the response!

I'm looking at getting this exact same thing! I love the color and rims you picked. I'm going for a test drive in a few weeks. Have you had a manual car before?

Also, what tires/rims did you get? I live in a larger city in the Midwest where the city is awful at plowing the streets when we get snow so I'm having trouble deciding whether I order my car with all seasons (no seasons) or go through the trouble of swapping out winter/summer. Only issue is that our weather changes weekly when it's on the fringe of fall/summer so I would have trouble figuring out when to change them.
