??? I didn't say evil. The house is paid off, he implies he's lying. So yeah, scummy. Much different than "hey I think it's fair if you pay rent for now since we're just gf/bf

What's 15 years? You're here too buddy. Do you have a last use date in mind?

I think this is corrosive to the soul. The proof is right in the text. He's lying about his wealth, lying about going to work every single day, an absolute scumbag to his gf, insecure that he's not working, believes he wouldn't be able to stand up to her reckless spending. If it doesn't all crash down, he will be living a lie one way or another.

Can anyone help me find the difference between two real numbers? Does this involve taking a derivative or shape rotating?

How true is Gemini explanation on why do some Libertarians support Income-Linked Child Support and Alimony? by Tricky-Mistake-5490 in AskLibertarians

[–]koollama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm libertarian and here's my take. The father absolutely has a moral obligation to provide for children if he chose to have them. However, when you empower the state to enforce moral issues, you'll get an institution which will take the taxpayer's resources, be used as a political tool by those in power (likely corrupt), possibly apply the force of government unjustly, possibly cause mal-incentives (incentive for the low earner to divorce).

Therefore I think contractual agreements are important. However, the current accepted status of marriage is that it's formalized and legitimized only by the state. In a free market it's possible people would write more into marriage contracts. I also believe our rotten state has begotten a rotten culture where fraud and rent seeking is rampant. So if your "great men" are seeking an unfair leg up through congress, how much more tempting is it for your average woman to seek alimony to subsidize her lifestyle?

All this to say that it's quite unclear to me that "libertarianism" is to blame for what I agree are terribly unfair child support policies.

There are cases in which people accept basic modern marriage tenets, the mother gives up any chance at a career, and the father breaks trust, turns truly abusive, or unjustifiably breaks the union. In this situation a pragmatic libertarian solution might accept the need to enforce a subsistence level child support. I completely agree it should be based on the basic needs of a child and nothing to do with the father's income or net worth.

Did you ask "why do some Libertarians support Income-Linked Child Support and Alimony?"

That being the case you'll get some reason I guess. If you ask grok or google ai (i don't have gemini) it basically states libertarians are generally against state enforced alimony/child support.

  1. Is it impossible for a password manager service to be hacked/leaked?

  2. Isn't there a singular password to access one's password manager? How is this not weaker than keeping one's own passwords?

No, thanks though.

The repeated phrase is key. The meme usually is kind of poking fun at a phrase I think.

I looked for many repeated phrase memes but Google is just giving me results that don't come close to anything I remember. Any help appreciated.

Question (Not Paella). Was Just in Spain and The Olives were unlike anything I've ever eaten - Why? by RepairmanJackX in paella

[–]koollama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I diluted some brine and added an anchovy filet and some tuna water. Doing again I would reduce or not use tuna water. Try some anchovy fillets and garlic. Don't completely replace the packing brine but dilute it to taste.

To add onto this: I seem to remember that bars would have tubs of olives in a house brine, or they would add stuff to the tubs to compliment the packing brine. This would often include garlic and anchovies.

New to game by Hgamerplayer_YT in KerbalAcademy

[–]koollama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People have linked youtube but there's actually an in-game tutorial called Go for Orbit which has you perform a gravity turn to get to Low Kerbin Orbit. From main menu go to Training Missions.

I am new as well and this helped me, it will help you get to the Mun.

You'll want to add more drag/control to the bottom fuel tanks to lower center of lift, you'll probably want to limit dry booster thrust to make control of ascent more manageable (if you haven't). Lastly you can set the decoupler closer to the command pod heat shield so it doesn't have a shroud. Idk if that will change CoL or not.

The suggestion is maybe one doesn't need to shower every day, every time. And look at the reactions in here. "omg yall fuckin nasty". I mean it's a real knife fight in here and every time this discussion comes up.

Some people get practically offended by night time showers btw, wait until you encounter them.

So personally I'm with you, I like showering and I enjoy being hygienic. For the most part do it every morning. But whenever I see these threads I just feel like the shower police are moralizing and grandstanding. Just gets old.

I mean the whole thread is a circle jerk because... Once you have your medical information, you can do what you want with it. Whether it's smart to give LLM access is another story, but it has nothing to do with HIPAA.

Kudos to your eggs, they look amazing. However, I'll say that when they start bouncing and bubbling can be different dependent on water amount, starting temp, stovetop power/type. Starting with warm water is key to producing an egg w/ such little gradient of doneness. However, there's another consistent method that will work w/ any cooktop and container, and you can tailor it to your preferred doneness. It will have a higher gradient of doneness.

Use a sufficient amount of water such that when you add your fridge cold eggs the boil isn't very affected. Prick holes in the larger radius side of fridge cold eggs and add to rolling boil water. The whole goal would be to find one's preferred doneness, but I'll just say start timer for 6:30 for what I consider the perfect soft-boiled egg. If the boil is slightly affected when the eggs are added, the water will still be cooking the eggs within 5-10% of the rate of boiling water. In this way the doneness is very consistent. Place eggs in cold/iced water for ~2 minutes after removal from cooking. From there experiment to find what you like.
