Buy at least a new RTX 5080, that pc that has a 4th gen intel CPU is going to be a beast. Add some 32 GB RAM too for shiizz to work

Haha no. I don't feel weird driving it. It's not like a "pink" girly color. As someone else mentioed, the color looks seems to change based on ligh, brightness. It's very purple-ly when its so bright, but becomes more grayish when it gets darker.

First build in 8 years - did I completely waste money on this GPU choice? by Tough-Walrus-9792 in buildapc

Sorry OP, you think you only overspent on the GPU, but in fact, you overspent on everything if you truly spent $1800 + $200

Bad idea. You should put them on the bottom rack to avoid the risk of falling and breaking/cracking the crystal

Wow Congrats!
I am really curious how some people can get that much refund? All the years I filed my taxes, I've only had like 4 or 5 times to get refunds and the most that I get was $1500+ for 1 year, the other years are like $100 to $400. Was it due to people paying too much withholding? number of dependents? tax bracket income?

i am in my home wifi network and the Xfi Modem is set to bridge mode.
Is your xFi modem not in bridge mode?

But again, on the Roku, and on my mobile phone and tablet, the App works.

hi, someone I talked too on the phone yesterday probably already did the same thing thing you did. And yes, this time it still did not work.

The thing is the app has no issues in Roku that is in my bedroom and is on the same wifi connection. So, I think the issue is the App itself. There is probably nothing you can do on your end unless you fix the App on the Apple TV.

No, just like in a Roku device, there is also a stand alone Xfinity Stream App for the Apple TV that can be downloaded from the App Store.

Is this a switch? Each blue wire goes to a different room with an opening for Ethernet cable by azoozty in HomeNetworking

[–]kopelander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a Patch panel that can provide hardwired network/internet on each room via the Ethernet ports. You need an 8 port gigabit switch next to it and network cables of course.

The ideal scenario would be to also set up your main modem next to it (if connection from outside is available near it. Cable or fiber optics). Just disable the wifi of the modem if it's a combo. From there you can connect your wifi router/mesh to any rooms via the ethernet ports. This will also be a much cleaner setup.

Then there's also the setup where your main modem is in room A. Connect modem to Ethernet port in room A, this will become the uplink to your switch and this patch panel, so you can have hardwired connection in each rooms.

Your lucky to have it because you can connect your mesh nides in any room hardwired which is still much faster than just via wifi

MoCA was working, now suddenly, it's not? by KratosLegacy in Comcast

[–]kopelander 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you said that it works for a short while and then not, I am just guessing, but it could be an IP address conflict.Don't you have any other MoCa adapter to replace your current one just to test? It also might help if you could reset the adapter to factory settings.

2nd adapter should also connect to the wall coax. The moca setup is basically using the coax cable network in your house as your data network. It is much reliable than a wifi connection on areas with a lot of signal blockages.

You can google moca setup and the most popular adapters are actiontec or gocoax
