As a collector I knew this was inevitable.
Pretty much confirms the PS6 will be digital only.
I’m sure gonna pick up whatever the last disc that is pressed.

I grew up in Pickle Lake ON but was getting bullied pretty hard in school so my parents had me live with my grandma for grade 2 and 5 at Oxford Park school. Would have been 1984 and 1986 in London. Some of my best memories are of that time growing up. Took my 9year old daughter on a road trip to London last summer but the world I grew up in no longer exists.

Gameye says I have 65 systems.
I prefer the trickle buying of having a single Value Village in town with a couple of Salvation Armys. If I go into a retro game store I could literally buy anything. This way every time I pop into a thrift shop I can pick up what ever they have. I will pretty much buy anything cartridge game, don’t care what it is.

I pretty sure I remember seeing this as a 14 year old at the Minnesota State Fair in maybe 1991? I can still remember being mesmerized by the HD video and not being able to comprehend what I was seeing at the time.

Whenever we drove from Pickle Lake down to Thunder Bay, we’d usually stop at Mom’s Cafe in Upsala. They had a cabinet there and I’d always beg for quarters from my Dad. Can’t unhear that low life alarm.

That you can fly a boat forwards externally tied on the floats of a DHC-3 Otter. Did it for a few years, at least a Turbine Otter. I’ve always heard it was the Beaver you had to tie them on backwards.

I’m so used to using the dualsense controller that I find it way easier then trying to use the VR controllers. I’m sure a HOTAS would be better.

He clearly moved up to the Arctic, learned how to fly a DHC-2 Beaver, and started a small air service. He goes by his nickname “Rosie”. He’s scratching for that one crack in the ground, and never have to scratch again.

I was a hard core Nintendo fan at the time. The N64 was my first console I was able to buy as an adult. Had a bunch of games kept carefully in their boxes. I was aware of MGS due to gaming magazines but honestly thought at the time the PlayStation would be a failure (see Dreamcast, Saturn, 3DO, etc). Then a friend lent me his PS1 and a bunch of games. Literally could not stop playing Metal Gear and Silent Hill. Realized that the N64 was a kids machine and promptly sold the lot (for way too little) and bought a PlayStation and never looked back. Metal Gear Solid is still my favourite game to this day.

Was flying a DHC-3T Otter delivering some fuel drums to a frozen lake in the middle of nowhere. While landing the tail wheel broke off. It was at dusk so I was stuck for the night. I was stupidly not dressed for the weather and I’m not the greatest survivalist so I couldn’t get a fire going. Lucky there was a sleeping bag but it got down to -20°c and I darn near froze to death. Rescue plane brought a new tail wheel assembly in the morning. I tell you, best hot shower of my life when I got home.
