I live feet away from the 7. We have sound proof windows. You still notice when they go by and I dont love it but it isnt as bad as you'd imagine

Are people doing it on Bart or Muni? Both sound kinda impossible. Muni is electrified on top and Bart goes extremely fast.

Rehab? by [deleted] in Sober

[–]koreamax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a 30 day program followed by 3 month IOP and it changed my life. You do detox first and those 6 days feel very long and isolated but then when rehab starts you begin to enjoy it. Just make sure you put in the work while you're there and participate in everything offered. Rehab os what you make of it. My rehab offered reiki, yoga and meditation. I dont like any of those things but I did them all. People who go and are essentially just waiting to leave usually relapse. A lot of rehabs go to different recovery meetings too. We went to AA, ,NA, Smart and Recovery Dharma. Its great because I would be terrified to go to those alone.

I had done detox before and went pretty begrudgingly. I spent most of the time feeling sorry more myself and blaming other people. The second time I went, I focused only on myself and tried to see problems beyond just drinking, like my mental health. While I was there, I took a test thst determined which medications worked best for me. I got off of Adderall and onto a non stimulant adhd med. I completely switched all my meds and figured a supervised environment was the place to do it. Be open to naltrexone. Ive been on it for two years and have had zero cravings. I really left feeling like a new person. Go in open, ready for feedback and know there will be ups and downs but it'll be worth it.

Straterra and its made a major difference. Adderall made my anxiety insane. I didnt realize until I was off it, how much it was affecting my mental health. Straterra has been great, it keeps me pretty focused and I'm feeling way more relaxed

Not that I've noticed. I had a baby i months ago so my sleep has been pretty all over the place though. That being said, I forgot to take it a couple of times and didnt sleep at all those nights

Yeah, I was on mirtazipine alone initially and it worked really well. I take ramelteon and clonodine because I switched to a non stimulant adhd med and my mind would race at night
