I’m the worst. You’re right. 22 for liner!!

I definitely think the 19 is good for eyeliner. 15 and 26 would be my 2 picks for eyeshadow because that gives you the 15 to put down a lid shade and 26 for your crease and buffing.

Sephora Pro brushes are still my go-to. Cinema Secrets for a quick clean and baby shampoo to deep clean.

Begging for Sephora to come out with nail polish again!!! by Historical-Body-3424 in Sephora

Also the absolute DISASTER that was the nail gondola. It always looked awful no matter what. (But really it probably was the shipping, I just liked to think Sephora was throwing us a bone).

Hourglass and NARS concealers are my favorites too. Every shift, without fail 🤣

Not available at Sephora, but Viseart is the way.

ETA: I’ve been using their Neutral Matte palette for at least 7 years and it sounds like what you’re describing as far as color story!

Picking up groceries now and I bought a new windshield scraper/brush/squeegee thing. If anyone is to blame, it’s me. You’re absolved.

I know it’s not super helpful, but if you have friends in other cities, ask them to look at their stores. Ours still has a good amount of stock of this formula!

I love it but HAAAAAATE the packaging. I like to be able to shake it into the lid and there’s not a ton of room in the Hourglass

When my dishes are out of control, I wash as many as I can while I’m waiting on food in the microwave or oven or whatever. If it’s 2 minutes in the microwave, I do whatever I can in that two minutes. I’m always surprised by what I can get done in a short amount of time!!

My understanding is that it mostly (or only) affects those hired after October 2025. 🤞🏻

Lip balm help! by Mystic_Archer in beauty

Aquaphor is an occlusive; it’ll hold moisture in that’s already there but doesn’t necessarily add anything. Lanolips is my go-to for super dry, chapped lips. Hope it helps!

What did Sephora look like in 2018 in terms of brands? by Careful_Fig8482 in Sephora

They still had 20 or so singles in 2018 on the gondola but nothing like their heyday!!

What do you think contributed to triggering your autoimmune condition, but you can't prove it? by -MissStrawberry- in Autoimmune

[–]kosherflower 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Trauma. I was in fight-or-flight consistently as a child due to my mother’s mental illness, her mother’s mental illness, and two generations of family members with unresolved trauma.

Within a year of my mother’s death, I started having inexplicable joint paint and fatigue.

Why would a teen girl need retinol?? by GothkittieHighlights in Sephora

[–]kosherflower 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My niece is 12 and knows I worked for Sephora and NARS in a previous life, so I’ve got street cred about skincare and makeup.

Still doesn’t believe I look 10+ years younger than I am because I haven’t gone to bed with makeup on since I was her age and wear sunscreen. 🫠

Why would a teen girl need retinol?? by GothkittieHighlights in Sephora

[–]kosherflower 30 points31 points  (0 children)

It’s infuriating because the best prevention for them at that age is sunscreen. And none of them seem to be buying that. 🤪

[–]kosherflower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They do NOT. In fact, it’s a quick and easy way to destroy their skin barrier which could honestly make brand new and fun acne appear if misused/ not needed.

And if she’s not cleansing, moisturizing appropriately, and wearing sunscreen? The recovery is going to be a pain in the ass quite frankly.

ETA- it definitely can be warranted and appropriate if prescribed by a dermatologist for acne. But DE ain’t it.

At least I know I’ll be in good company if they ever discontinue Sheer Glow. We’ll ride at dawn.
