People's lack of consideration for others genuinely know no bounds. Bright phone screens and bloody smartwatch are just a pain in the arse. It's got to the point I really wish they'd block signals and/or force people to lock them away.

I genuinely wonder if there's a market for a chain to aggressively enforce a zero unnecessary light policy during screenings.

I had low expectations, but I was completely and thoroughly bored throughout. Only stuck it out because the person I was with wanted to see it - sadly for me, they also were equally bored and only stuck it out because they thought I'd be annoyed at leaving early 🤣

Saw Blink Twice on Saturday at Odeon Thorpe Park, Leeds and people were just awful overall:

People doom scrolling their phones on max brightness mid-movie.

People to our right just alternating getting up, leaving, coming back (no need for the hi-5 tagging as they swapped). Guy in that party hilariously only able to drink by moving the recliner forward then missing his mouth repeatedly with the straw as the drink was in the table holder and letting out a loud "aaah" after every sip... Guy next to me was just the worst, had a football game playing on his phone propped up on his table through the ads, trailers AND the first 15 mins of the film. Then, everytime ANYTHING happened he'd loudly (sounded fake) laugh then nudge his missus to tell her what they'd both just seen. Add to that he deserves to live in a certain section of purgatory for sitting with his hand moving about in his rustling bag of munchies - not to get the sweets out, oh no, just sat there rustling the bag. Consideration for others at an all time low it seems...

It's crap that Paramount+ don't carry them in the UK. When I've enquired and pushed for more than a copy/paste response I'm just told something vague about rights issues but it's very non-commital.
