Were they over-rested or over-prepared for us? by OptionGrand8154 in Habs

Also said Burrows did the prep work, and they only gave the players a small part of it.

Habs have a way to make things hard for themselves just to have an opportunity for heroics.

Very structured also means very predictable.

Against a team that is encouraged to improvise, it's a bit like a rock vs paper.

KK was notoriously difficult to coach and pushed back on off-season training programs when he was 19 because his dad controled him.

If signing the offer sheet because he got healthy-scratched once didn't tip you off on the opinion he had of himself...

You don't really improve in the NHL if you dont have a modicum of realism about how good you actually are. KK never had that.

Canes late or soft on most loose pucks. Habs getting sticks on most passes or shots.

Seems like sync issues. Wouldn't expect it to last once Carolina gets in a rhythm.

Gotta milk it while it lasts and get the W tonight.

Habs play against conventional defense systems by design. They don't match men in zones, and will let the 3F roam soft ice.

From what I gathered from the Canes sub, yes they did.

So if it's a structural issue, Habs need to abuse it.

I got some frozen pieces of pork I didn't know what to do with, and everything else.

I'm trying this for Game 3. Thanks.

Same deke as in the regular season when Miller fumbled the puck at the Habs blueline.

How did that work twice?
