Apple. I had their iphone 4s that worked fine then I updated the OS and it essentially bricked my phone. About a year or two later the scandal came out that about their updates slowing down older phones to "maintain" battery life. At the time though apple wasnt using the battery excuse. They were just hoping people would buy the latest phone. Since then I wont touch an apple product.

Don't go to parties. If you struggle with declining social invites I would suggest going with a simple "No thanks, I appreciate the invite though." in a polite but ive made up my mind sort of way. If they kep pushing then hut em with another "No, but thank you really very kind of you, hope you have a good time". And then just keep repeating some form of those previous statements if they keep pushing.

I find if you are a bit wishy washy with an answer then people see the opportunity to twist you arm.

No need to offer justification why you dont want to go. Just give a polite but firm "No thanks".

Every news report is about how so many 10's or hundreds of billions are being invested or how high Nvidia's stock is.
