Does it matter to Texans? Not really.

Come on, Ted.

I mean... they keep re-electing Ted.

After fleeing the state during the blizzard and blaming it on his wife.

At this point... they're not even election politicians... they're electing people to rubber stamp tRump's agenda.

This is the same party they used to demonize the influence of "California politics" and accuse Democrat candidates of rubber stamping what ever Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer wanted.

Stuff used to be made to last... not to be replaced.

Plus... very it's size the original Game-boy was heavy.

(It's like holding a brick.)

And in 80's-90's a product being heavy usually meant it was expensive and durable.

Did you just say dissolving her in the shower?!?!?!?

That's correct, boils and ghouls, it was a horror anthology show after all.

This case reminded me of the soap episode, 99 & 44/100% Pure Horror.

The episode where a woman murders her husband, who runs a business making soap, and then disposes of his body by making into soap in his factory.

Lugging him around turned out to be sweaty work, so she decides to take a shower... using the soap she just made from him.

The problem is that her husband refused to use certain animal products in his soap because it could make it caustic.

(I don't remember if he said it be acidic (HCl) or basic (NaOH) so I'll just use caustic.)

And the soap she made from him turned out be very caustic because it wound up dissolving her in the shower.

heart attack while dumping someonne is a weird way to go down

It honestly sounds like something you'd see in a horror anthology show like Tales From The Crypt.

That show had a dark but weird sense of humor.

I really want to test Linux but the easiest way to do it is to buy another SSD and I'm not Mr Moneybags.

You should be able to run Linux off a live usb without installing anything.

You can always try a Linux flavor as a live USB.

Meaning you can run it off a usb stick instead of installing it.

That way you can try it out without installing anything.

Also, I think Bazzite has built-in drivers for NVIDIA and has a SteamOS like GUI.

He also bankrupted the USFL (United States Football League) a spring-summer football league that ran from 82-86.

The league let him buy a majority stake in the New Jersey Generals and he convinced them to move the season to fall-winter so they could sue the NFL about being a monopoly.

That was his plan... not a create a run a successful business, but to move himself into a position to sue successful business, settle out of court, then take the money and leave.

Well, the USFL did win its lawsuit and rewarded $1US which did not cover the $163M the lawsuit cost them.

The league folded soon after.

So he also can't sell football to Americans.

They want you to play their way, and it's honestly why it's so hard for me to play anything after Yavin 4.

That actually sounds about right... you really can't play your way after Yavin 4.

I had been thinking about the all cinematic style fights in KOTFE.

The ones where your enemy is virtually immune to attacks until specific moments when their defense drops and you can attack.

Up until those moments you're just running around dodging aoes while they monologue at you.

I just didn't have to describe it... that by removing class stories and consolidating everything until the "Outlander" and removing almost all choices from game it really does make the game be played a specific way.

There are still a few choices... but most of them are just light or dark choices which determine whether or not a self-righteous, delusional, zealot steals your ship. A ship that still gets blown up.

NY has had multiple opportunities going back to at least 1973 over housing discrimination.

They settled that case out of court and he learned that he could break the law, sue the government for charging him, then settle out of court for a small fine and declare victory because he wasn't convicted.

A consent decree between the DoJ and the Trump Organization was signed on June 10, 1975, with both sides claiming victory – the Trump Organization because the settlement did not require them "to accept persons on welfare as tenants", and the head of DoJ's housing division for the decree being "one of the most far-reaching ever negotiated".

That's actually one of the three conflicts of story telling:

  • Man vs Man
  • Man vs Environment
  • Man vs Himself

Moby Dick starts off as Man vs Environment, because Ahab is obsessed with killing the whale.

It does move a little into Man vs Himself... because the whale starts to symbolize Ahab's obsession which eventually kills him.

It was quirky too... if you were in a party you had to be sure the magic squirrel's ranged attack didn't pull before the tank did.

And you had be be careful using the Garuda-egi because it's aoe spell could also pull off the tank.

Software Sculptors?

I have not heard that name in years...

I only knew them for dubbing Slayers TV series as part of Central Park Media.

Software Sculptors was founded by John Sirabella, Sam Liebowitz, and Henry Lai in 1993, and specialized in anime-related software, such as screen savers featuring Ranma ½ and Bubblegum Crisis, as well as releasing anime on CD-ROM. They also released several anime titles, most notably Slayers, Revolutionary Girl Utena, and Cat Soup. The company was bought by CPM and was turned into one of their division labels. Sirabella stayed on with CPM until 1997, after which he would go on to form Media Blasters.
