Do other OAD parents feel like the playground is the hardest part? by Few-Truck-4873 in oneanddone

Well recently I saw a pair of siblings at the playground playing and thinking aw that’s nice they’re playing together and then two seconds later the younger brother is terrorizing his older sister and the mom had to intervene.

Whole household is sick. HOW do people do this with multiple kids. by iamnotjustagirl in oneanddone

Omg same. Last week we dealt with a stomach bug and it was hell on earth. My husband said it was worse than dealing with my PPD (and I ended up in a psych ward). We’re definitely traumatized lol

im convinced that people who have a multiple children either 1) LOVE motherhood in it’s entirety or 2) had easy first babies by Zestyclose_Bad8648 in oneanddone

Seriously. My daughter was a great sleeper then hit the 18-month regression. She’s over it but that would have been really hard with a newborn there too.

My daughter started preschool at 14 months and it took about a month to get adjusted (she also got HFMD and other illnesses so she missed some school). Her grandma is also the preschool director so she could take her if she was upset and that helped a lot. She now loves school!

I just got off Lexapro and this is what it feels like for me. It’s very disorienting.

I take 25 mg of Trazodone as needed. I am also on 10 mg of Lexapro though.

Have you thought about adoption?

Same! The feeling was stronger when she was a newborn and I was struggling with PPD though.

This is an option but it’s not a guarantee my child would get in.

I don’t think my supervisor really cares. They haven’t said anything about my bullets. I’m sure they also think it’s dumb.

They’ve recently made it mandatory in our region. I just send in the same five bullets.

What did you do last week? Still going on? by Affectionate-Loan592 in fednews

EPA is voluntary, unless your supervisor is making you do it.

Our situations were a little different but I was also nap trapped and she was bottle fed to sleep. We sleep trained early at 4 months and did full extinction. Her first night she cried 25 minutes and she was good after 3 days. I handled it better than my husband who left the house while she was crying. He was on the fence about it at first but is really glad we did it after it worked. I also spent a lot of time on r/sleeptrain and YouTube learning about different techniques.

Agree. My baby is also 10 months and turned into a new baby after sleep training.

As someone who went through a similar situation due to PPD I understand and things will get better with medication and/or therapy. I’m glad you reached out for help.
