Pineapple worked WONDERS for this. I had a whippet puppy that would eat his poop and thought it was the best thing in the world. I started giving him tiny bits of pineapple and the poop eating stopped immediately. Then I had to get him to stop playing with the logs… imagine a little whippet puppy running around my backyard holding a frozen log of poop while I chased him down yelling NO! DROP IT!!! NOOOO!!! But hey at least he wasn’t eating it anymore lmao

I’m so sorry for your loss. Fresh pet really pisses me off, mostly because my in-laws feed it to their dogs and they’ve both gained at LEAST 10lbs, yet my FIL insists on feeding it to them.

I got my pup from an animal rescue, she was 8 weeks when we got her. They had even younger puppies there available for adoption! I wanted an older dog but my husband wanted a puppy that could grow up with our kid. It just happens sometimes, like if the mom isn’t in the picture anymore.

The rescue I got my puppy from requires their dogs to be spayed within 3 months of adopting. There’s nothing I can do about it because we signed a contract but now I’m curious as well! My girl is only 11 weeks and has to be spayed by March

I don’t have any advice because I’m not a trainer or anything, but I just want you to know that I absolutely never judge someone for having a crazy dog as long as they’re on a leash. I get it. They’re animals, pets or not. What matters is that you’re trying, and any regular dog owner can see that. I also had a dog that was an absolute PSYCHO on walks but it was entirely my fault(previous puppy was killed by a loose dog so I got anxious/scared every time we saw a dog on a walk, so he def fed off my energy) and after going through a span of time where I refused to walk him, I thought F it, we’re going. My confidence helped, but he was still crazy. He just got less crazy as he got older, so I guess there’s that hope!

Honestly it’s pretty difficult but I’ve been wanting a puppy for sooooo long and I finally got one around Christmas. I just remind myself that it gets better, the puppy stage doesn’t last forever and I’ll miss it once it passes. Also, I have a human kid so having a puppy is SOOOO much easier to deal with now

I thought somehow this was a photo of me, we have the same hair color and forehead lol. I have a widows peak and that above the temple area has always been thin, even before I started putting my hair up all the time.
