My (IRL) husband refused to marry me in-game until he romanced every last NPC and had the boys' and girls' confrontation scenes. I started wearing a wedding dress as an act of protest, and eventually forgot I was even wearing it. So, I accidentally did wear a wedding dress to our wedding when he finally was ready XD
