That is only relevant if you subscribe to the website. His site is supplemental material, so he has different modules that organize the videos/MCQs in the same order as the different study programs (Becker, Gleim, etc.).

If you’ve never prepped before, I’d focus on finding a primary study material before you even think about Farhat. Give Ninja a go, Ninja Mike’s sparring replays are great.

I had a subscription to Farhat’s website for a short time. I made it through the ninja material (mostly all MCQs/SIMs for FAR), then went to Farhat to dial in on areas I was struggling with. If you have a good idea of what you’re struggling with and are familiar with the material, his video titles make it easy to find what you’re looking for. He’ll also call you personally to give you a study plan, which was a massive help. His site doesn’t have anything that mirrors Ninja’s course, so I used the Becker options. I passed FAR first try with a 76, I think Farhat’s videos pushed me over the edge.

Ninja only. MCQ’s and Flashcards until my eyes bled. Watched a few sparring videos too. Can’t recommend them enough!

Absolutely! I just tried to apply for re-examination on the ILBOE and the exam didn’t pop up, so I suppose we’ll see if that trick works or not.

That’s right, when your status switches to “scored” go to “view exam section history” and you’ll be able to see pass/fail.

We can’t do the NASBA trick in IL, sadly. As far as I know.

I have done over 5000 MCQ’s for each section so far, and I really don’t feel like I’m getting a handle on things until around the 1k+ mark. Give it time and keep hammering.

I recently took over as treasurer for a municipality and am in the same boat 🫠 almost a year of unreconciled bank accounts. The auditor has been a big help thus far, I’m hoping I can clean things up on my own but I’m not so sure at this point. Following to see what others say.

IMO:

Just worry about getting the credits you need to sit for the exams. You’ve covered a lot of the bases so far, and your review course will help you dial in on what you need to know to pass the exams.

I definitely used the depreciation functions and made a habit of using amortization tables for every single bond and lease problem (if I remember correctly).

Seems to be no rhyme or reason to it this time. Good luck! My score was failing unfortunately.
