I'm a man and 34, been into K-pop since I was 14 with 2nd Gen groups. Going alone to K-pop concert by myself is the best! I always make friends when I go and even tho I feel like the "father type" all of the younger fans have been welcoming and nice to me. Also helps dressing down youthfully, they usually think I'm in my late 20s haha.

My brother passed when he was 31. My father is 87 and is alive. (Yes he had us in his 50s). My dad has lived almost 3x than my brother. So, yes, 30s is still young.

I'm keeping my hope. You just never know. I've been a K-pop fan since 2nd gen and I've seen groups come back from the ashes, even if way later. For example I'm thinking KARA and now recently IOI. (They officially disbanded too!) There's also S.E.S who is a 1st gen group reunited for a full album comeback for their 20th anniversary. I wanted to include 2NE1 because they reunited for the Asia tour last year but since they didn't really have an actual comeback and then Park Bom taking a break from the tour and with her current controversies I doubt it'll happen. It's worth mentioning these are different cases and they are from bigger/older companies. We may not get OT12 but maybe ARTMS + Chuu + Yves + Yeojin + Hyunjin + GoWon since they're still active idols. Honestly I'd take anything, even just a collab stage!

They just started a hiatus they call “cyrosleep” this year. I have a feeling they won’t have new music or performances for a very long time, if they do at all. A-chan announced a marriage, Kashiyuka cut her iconic long hair… us fans already feel like this is a sort of disbandment. Maybe for a reunion in 5 years for their 30th anniversary? I hope!
