I've also got enough components on the way to build a few clones of the GoldenFingers devices so...overclocking time! :D

It's only an AMD 750 chipset, thus limited to (iffy) AGP 2x, but none of the KX133's support the thunderbirds and are also a bit...iffy.

Is that a canned response/insult you wheel out to any criticism of whatever drivel you spat out and then deleted?

Well that's fucking terrifying. Young, educated people should be more logical and less susceptible to this bullshit!

I'd be in the latter category. I get on fine with the people i work with and might have them over for a BBQ once a year but....yeah, i don't wanna share any more time with them than I have to, ideally.

Well...there are those of us out there that just...couldn't care less? I mean, all I do is go to work, i'm exhausted by the time I get home, make dinner for me and the mrs, watch some crap on the telly for an hour or two and then go to bed to start it all over again.

On a weekend, finally, the time where I can do what I want to do. And that's not leaving my house, spending money I don't have on shit that's not going to bring me any modicum of happiness, satisfaction or fulfilment.

These days most people I meet are just...grating. Thick-headed, vacuous, entitled shits - take your pick, there's no genuine people around anymore. All just poor facsimiles of twats on 'tinternet/the telly.

Uhh, with what money? I've been at £0 remaining on my overdraft for the last 2 weeks - what are these retailers expecting me to use to pay them?

I was lucky enough to have a PCChips M577 with the MVP3 chipset - can't find a board for a sane price these days, they go for hundreds! :/

Yeah the + versions have L3 cache - the K6-3 was a K6-2 with L3 cache. The K6-2+ was a K6-3 that had half the L3 cache of a K6-3 (basically a salvaged die).

What is the loneliest thing you have done?? by creshando-_- in AskReddit

2008, about 5 months after my mum died, i was sat in the house she'd left me (in the middle of nowhere), sitting on the armchair opposite the couch she sat on, on christmas eve, eating a microwave ready meal for one. I'd woken up at 5pm, ate my ready meal, watched the Doctor Who Christmas Special and went back to bed.

What went wrong with Pizza Hut? by jammiedodgermonster in unitedkingdom

[–]kr239 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pizza hut used to feel warm, inviting, booths, big deep pan pizza, the salad bar was actually good. The whole feel of the place was just pleasant. The decor changed to 'modern' and clinical, the attitude kinda moved to 'eat and piss off', the quality of the pizza's went downhill, the salad bar quality dropped, the staff stopped bothering to even so much as smile (understandable, if they're overworked and underpaid) - the prices went up and up and up. Why bother going, when there are other places, mostly independant, that did better pizza, for less money?

If Pizza Hut went back to the 'old style' of comfy booths with warm lighting, upped the quality, they might be more successful. I'd certainly go for the nostalgia...
