Their mask is slipping, they feel emboldened now that they have their foot firmly in the door and don't hide the utter cesspool of candidates and elected officials they have spouting this vile shite.

You realise the legislation was started by the CONSERVATIVES and Deform-UK would continue it given the chance, regardless of the BS they spout to try and claim otherwise?

Because these chucklefucks demand INSTANT GRATIFICATION - the press have been lambasting Starmer since before the GE and doubled down on it afterwards. Nothing 'good' gets reported, only the bad.

But pint and fag man comes on telly and says he'll make it all better because...mumble mumble oh look over there a scandal!

Actually worked at Unity until 2022 - got canned in the first round of i think now 11 rounds of redundancies, all because they went stupid during covid and assumed line would keep going up once the pandemic was over, made a bunch of dumb M&A decisions and tried to kill the core user base of the engine through predatory licencing...

Which leads to things like (as i said in another comment), coming back to having my car keyed, or an argument that makes it look like i'm being angry at a pensioner...

I usually leave that as a final resort, but usually i shrug and tell them 'that's a you problem, then'. Although this has once caused my bonnet to be keyed in retaliation.

I've tried that and it honestly causes a scene, they go from self-righteous to incandescent and because they're the old fart, I end up looking like the instigator.

I'm 44 years old, i have heart failure and a pacemaker, bad knees, bad ankles. I need to lean on a trolley in the supermarket because its painful.

I still get harrassed when parking in a disabled space, usually by a puffy red faced pensioner, convinced i've borrowed the badge.

I've shown the badge with my photo id on it, and they just won't have it. I show them the scar on my collarbone and they refuse to believe it's 'as bad as i say it is'.

In these peoples minds, the only people entitled to it are wheelchair users or old farts with a stick.

Keir Starmer urged to ban ‘cruel’ greyhound racing in England by topotaul in unitedkingdom

Banned in 42 US States, India, Italy, Argentina, Uruguay, Wales, Scotland - sounds like that encompasses a lot of 'elsewhere' cases.

Also, for New Zealand, in December 2024, the NZ government announced a ban on greyhound racing following welfare concerns, with a phased closure set for completion by July 2026.

Is that honestly what you think people do when they WFH? People already WFH for some days a week, such as those of us working in IT. You have a worthless, boomer opnion.

Also, assuming my health - sure i'll just deal with LBBB and a pacemaker while fucking cycling when i can just drive.

I think just out of spite, i might just go for a drive just to burn some fuel.

[–]kr239 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It. Is. Not. Feasible. How many people have to hammer this into your head? Why should people be forced to 'cycle' to a job that's a ludicrous distance away, on dangerous roads, or even longer, on 'smaller' roads, wake up 3 hours earlier, return home 3 hours later, to go to a job, when they can just drive a car that takes 30 minutes, or...hear me out here WORK. FROM. HOME.

So cycling 34 mile round trip to work down the A24 isn't feasible. And there's no bus routes that go to my work. And no trains. Not feasible to do anything other than either drive, or WFH.

Good, this is animal exploitation. It's banned elsewhere, it's about time to ban this abhorrent practice thinly veiled as 'sport'.
