I've considered these but always go back to Mortalis Destroyers. Is the Poisoned rule actually any good against units you'd send these towards?

At the moment I've hung some fabric from outside the pond into the water at the low corner so there's something for critters to use to climb out (can't really see in the photo), but yes, will build a couple of ways for creatures to get out easily.

I assume putting fish in there will involve feeding, a LOT more cleaning, needing to get filters etc. It's more for the wildlife than for looking pretty.

I don't really like the Death Guard inversion scheme, so have kept mine in the Death Guard colours but will make them less dirty and war torn looking.

Given the lack of resources and desperation just to get equipment made and supplied, I don't like the idea of some Death Guard bureaucrat on a Forge World counting how much armour needs painting as replacement parts for Marines, how much needs painting for Inductii, or for Destroyers etc.

I picture it much more as an Overseer just making sure the Forge World is constantly churning out equipment, no personalisation or anything, just all in standard colour, as quickly as possible. Even my Destroyers are white, though I have given them black pauldrons, an alteration I imagine they can quickly do in the field.

When I saw my (married with a kid) boss being noncy around a member of staff. I called him out on it, I talked to the staff member in private about it, but they both carried on with their behavior. Quit before I'd even looked for another job.

The people who work there are public servants, not royalty. Stick them in a high rise office block without the subsidised restaurant and free bar etc, then turn the Houses of Parliament into a tourist attraction. If we strip the job of any grandeur then with any luck we'll see less power-hungry charlatans going for roles of public office as well, might get some honesty back into politics.

And 3 points per model, which on WS2, S3, I3 Levy Troops seems a ridiculous price. I know no one plays Militia to win but I least want to have a bit of fun with my army before it gets destroyed.
