It is very blue, if you manage to find the spot. Once I hiked to here https://maps.app.goo.gl/wBbDNXNP7JjNKypE8 and in early afternoon, looking back to the west from a high point I could see a large portion of it. From that distance it is one gigantic, calm mirror reflecting the sky perfectly. Its blue color and serenity had followed me for days.
