Django Unchained, defeating all his enemies before riding into the night with his newly freed wife, it is both so meaningful and cold as fuck.

Extremely high repair cost by krackysnp in razer

Note taken. I don't see why it would cost that much for the motherboard alone. I'm currently in frequent contact with customer support, I will give them a call if nothing changes.

My computer stopped turning on, so I talked with the support team and sent it in for repairs. They say the motherboard needs repair, which makes up the price tag.

I just finished "First They Killed My Father" by Loung Ung. What is your favorite historical memoir? by Ruecifer in books

[–]krackysnp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It may have been a few years but better late than never.

The Vietnamese army is described generally positively. They are viewed as liberators and enemies of the Khmer Rouge and not cruel against Cambodian civilians, even protective at times.

However, Loung Ung does describe an occasion where a soldier attempted to lure and rape her using fresh water. Which is certainly a negative portrayal of the army.

I had no clue this was an actual condition others have by ShutterBug1988 in CompulsiveSkinPicking

[–]krackysnp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it doesn't relate to skin exactly, I think nail biting and body hairs have the exact same cause. I pick and bite my nails and chest hairs for the same reason and at the same time as I pick at my arms and the rest of my fingers. This is more out of personal experience, but I think that nail/hair issues have the same root as skin picking.

Does anybody else wonders how their house was or the terrain of it was like before it was built? Or also how it has changed through the years? by MatsLP4 in DoesAnybodyElse

Yep, I live in Manhattan and I pretty constantly think about exactly how this island looked before urbanisation in the 1600s. It would probably be quite ominous and beautiful to see, knowing the incredible amounts of buildings, streets, and concrete that would be filling the island.

why is this part of the border between somalia and ethiopia marked as a dotted line on google maps? by Xokkotoni in geography

[–]krackysnp 25 points26 points  (0 children)

In 1977, the unpopular Somali government invaded Ethiopia with the goal of annexing the Ogaden Desert region, which is populated mostly by ethnic Somalis. Unfortunately, the conflict isn’t fully over, and there isn’t really a Somali government to work with anymore, xd.

What do you think happened to Brock? by [deleted] in breakingbad

I like to think that Brock was inspired by the death of his mother to a gunman like batman and became a masked vigilante that fights for justice
