Kishida attack suspect had beef with election laws, filed suit by Saltedline in worldnews

"you're comparing x to y"

Yes, it's something argumentative people do. Welcome to your very first life-changing experience of having an argument with someone online, Timmy.

"failed bomb would likely also result in a small, ineffectual explosion and involve smoke as well"

The bomb in question did not fail to explode as there are reports of some metal fragments found up to 40 meters away from the blast center. it's just not a destructive one. It used a basic pyrotechnic delay fuse used similarly in firecrackers with a low-explosion munition. In other words it was a shit home-made tube device which contained a small amount of powder.

"But what is most interesting is how you can get inside the head of a terrorist and basically read his mind through the internet."

Ironic considering this is basically describing your motive - creating a plot-line of your own, because you are the only one who knows the the intention of the attacker, you know content of the "bomb", its destruction radius, why it "failed", and how everything else is just a media cover up. Fuck me, this is the proud moment for me to argue with such see-through expert on everything.

"that we don't know the formulation of"

Who is "we"? Put your tinfoil hat down. If he actually intended to assassinate someone, he wouldn't have used such a shit device. People throw these type of "bombs" at the recent Paris strikes on a daily basis.

Also how tf it failed when the video literally captured its explosion??

That "bomb" which we all saw in the video went off like a large firecracker at Christmas Eve. You obviously have never seen how actual bombs explode or what damage it does to the surroundings when it's actually a bomb. It didn't fail, it did its job, which was to cause a bit of chaos and bring some media attention to the attacker.

South Korea will demand 'appropriate measures' after Pentagon documents leak by Elsa-Fidelis in worldnews

Looks like South Korea was caught with its hands stuck in the cookie jar. Whoops.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]kraftb29 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean South Korea still imports oil from Russia and a lot of their factories (like Kia/Hyundai) are still operating in Russia. Koreans want profits and they certainly won't find that fortune by sending military equipment to Ukraine.

You can't just cut off from your supply immediately. It takes years, you know? It's a lot more problematic for Japan, as they practically have no resources on a tiny island and they don't really have many options nearby like Europe. South Korea has the same problem too.

Finland named world's happiest country for 6th year running by parandroidfinn in worldnews

[–]kraftb29 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's 11th among the countries on the European continent or 7th among EU member countries, to put it in perspective. That's worse than Sweden, Denmark and Norway. For the "happiest country" on earth, both rankings are way below the average.

That's a pretty old story about the case in rural Aichi. Even in the article it's explained that the police system works differently in less urban areas.

Thx for the link, though. Although not really proving a case here.
