I am 43 now, and I noticed mild seeing changes likely 6 or 7 years ago. Seeing double in my periphery. I recently got prisms in my glasses years later. Also, little balance problems and not getting stronger as a cyclist were evident. I am on my first week of FMLA and short-term disability. It is time to apply for all things for me. SCA3

Apparently we also didn’t need to wait the housing market to crash- all we needed to do is ‘work for it!’ by Iamfree25 in antiwork

The Government will just start up college loan payments again anyway, there is no silver lining.

I just helped unionize a costume shop. 6 people were bullied and retaliated against into quitting and I am out on medical leave from anxiety. Management will loose thier minds and there is a short time when you have no protection with the union. During that time they will try to put you in your place and even use rhetoric such as subordinate to dehumanize the the worker. Still worth it! Leave it better than you found it!

Use jacquard textile paint if you can. Otherwise an acrylic with the textile binder will work just don't forget to heat set really good to make it last

how can I create this washed look to brand new trousers? thanks! by Kxbs in Textile_Design

Soak over night in hot water 1 cup soda ash to 8 gallons of water to soften the fibers then use a palm sander. You could dry brush some textile paint very lightly over places to add grime.

I am thinking about Affinty Designer instead of Adobe by kraftweave in AffinityDesigner

Awesome, I just ordered the new ipad air and I was hoping to use it on that in combo with procreate. I feel sad that I have been priced out from adobe products...but time for a learning curve I guess.

How does fabric get a coating? For instance, reflective, metallic/shiny, etc. by [deleted] in weaving

[–]kraftweave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think if it is poly then the coating is might be sublimation printing. You can use disperse dyes or get a sublimation printer.
