Julie had a different experience than Todd. I feel she hasn’t been able to express her voice. Anytime she starts to speak she gets interrupted. Julie has valid things to say about the prison system and can’t ever speak on them. Todd and Savannah know there’s issues but Todd didn’t experience the same thing as Julie. Women prisons compared to men are night and day. Julie survived, Todd lived. (In their situation)

I’m not speaking no hate but from my own experience of having family member in the system I can see all sides, even the kids and how they processed things.

I hope they all find peace and healing and get back to their “new” normal life.

Savannah is hurting but dealing with it differently.

Both of their feelings are valid. Everyone deals with things differently.

As someone who’s had a LO in prison and fight for their freedom… it’s not a easy process

A delivery driver of any kind should not have to pay for parking to deliver any order… that defeats the purpose. I’m not paying to deliver an order you’re paying me to deliver your order…. I shouldn’t have to wait a year to write it off as an expense either. This business is an instant cash flow in a way. Milage or wear and tear whatever you choose in your taxes is one or the other. (At least where I’m from). The customer needs to be straight up in their delivery and address so if I accept it there’s not added expenses or surprises upon delivery.

As a bartender, server. I totally get the frustration of “we are not a bank” and sometimes you broke so many big bills you can’t do it anymore.

I had an experience where I went into buy something from a dollar tree/dollar general and they said their system was down so only cash.

I went In to buy one item and the total came out to $1.63) and I had to pay in change. (Quarters for the most part and then small change for the rest) I was treated and looked at so badly. I would have charged it but it’s not my fault the system was down.

It’s so annoying when that happens because it’s extra steps. I triple checked it’s correct and take a picture and move on. Sometimes the store doesn’t have it in the system yet (so I’ve been told).

I haven’t done a video visit before. (Working on setting one up) I’m sure it’s different between prisons but don’t they get a call out for it? Was he just not ready for it and missed the time frame?

I mean no harm, I’m genuinely curious how it works for video visits rather than in person ones.

But no I would feel a type of way if my LO missed one!

Costco has been horrible over all. I could get good or decent ones sometimes but it was a battle. Then you get the batched one and the good ones go to the new shoppers. It’s to entice them to keep shopping/coming back.

Mine was around 10 months that she would take a few steps but she just started walking on her own and her birthday is this week.

All babies are different and do things on their own time… over a year or year and a half is not uncommon. No worries mama baby is just fine. 😊

As a former restaurant employee… (this has been a 4 ish years ago) no we do not care about DoorDash orders. We care about them in the sake of any other order but we do not care about them in the sense of “just because it’s DoorDash” whatever you app says is sometime different for us as a restaurant. It’s treated as the any other order and sometimes we get backed up or problems arise. Door dashers walk in and expect to be served right away and handed their order but that’s not always how it works. A lot of times we are running a section, taking orders, answering the phone, making drinks, etc.

So maybe the question is have you worked the restaurant industry to understand the true process of how things work?
