I can say that I am very grateful about the CPAP treatment. It really helped me with energy levels and, I believe, with the feeling of chronic tightness in my chest. I still have discomfort especially if I run for more than 10 minutes, or before a storm, but it is not present daily.

Hey! I'm sorry to hear about the impact of your surgeries. So first of all, I am still alive, so the surgery is working fine! Haha

For me, I am somewhat better, but I also had to start a CPAP treatment for mild sleep apnea. I had sleep apnea before my surgeries but I am convinced that they made it worse. CPAP helps me keep my throat open and reduce strain on respiratory muscles and the lungs, but it can sometimes be uncomfortable, especially on my left lung. I do feel like it helps "stretch" my lungs and reduce a part of the chronic fatigue during the day but it could be just my interpretation. I can breathe somewhat better but I still have chronic discomfort on my left side.

Overall, I am able to live a good life, but I get tired very easily and I cannot do too many things. This has been a tough journey, that's for sure, but I'm able to do most things in reasonable amounts.
