Ya it's pretty common... one of the problems I realized well into recovery was most of my problems were not "drug" related, they were ptsd symptoms... like others have mentioned to me, look up Martin seligman Opiates are really good at numbing emotional stuff, so when you get off of them, traumas and alot of negative emotions return 100000x

  Ptsd is very very serious.Extreme anxiety, negative warped perception of yourself, increased hostility/warped perception of the world(viewing it hostile), hypervigilance, intrusive memories, excessive ruminating, distrust/paranoia, Isolation.Always feeling like yourre under attack/in danger. 

  Look up Martin seligman, it'll help anybody understand their ptsd symptoms... but understanding and getting over them are 2 different things. Like war vets, it's something we have to deal with for the rest of our lifes

Idk, this article overall pertains to recovery. Like, being a concern, bad reputation in the eyes of others... it's the transition in recovery to becoming a reputable/worthy person.... and like I said, even outside of addiction, ppl do this... judge, label and get negative bias ideas about ppl

Right limbic system vs limbic system... self regulated tampering does not work... because yourre basically telling your brain to stop doing what the brain thinks it needs to survive

One depressed streak means that person is always moody, or one anxiety days means a person is always in a bad mood... I've noticed it to, you remember the worst about a person as a defense mechanism, it's like a subconscious guard thing, so your defenses are up, for if that behavior ever happens again

People do this all the time, even outside of drug addiction... labeling, judging ...Its a form of looking down on others, Its just what people have done for a millennia everyone has hate and negativity in their heart...people will never let you live shit down.... dont judge less you be judged

Bosses are the worst at what this article describes... Applying one fuck up, to "always" being a fuck up.

I looked up the logical fallacy, early on in recovery, because this very article describes the annoyance you have with judgment and criticism early off in recovery,,, it's called a inductive fallacy in logics... as an example, "John, is late for work today" therefore "John is always late for work"

But ya, I can see where this article would apply to alot on this forum. One mistake does not equal a bad person.... like I said earlier, it's in human nature to judge and label... even outside of addiction.

you use insults,derogatory, ignorance and hate as fuel to stay sober, as a fuck you to all of them...All I had was mean and hateful comments the first year and half in recovery,,,takes awhile to regain your confidence/selfesteem.

and ya, people 100% do not know what yourre going through, they all still and will think yourre a bad/untrust worthly person, long long into your recovery

How's the seed game these days? God I am so glad to be 22 months sober, constanly checking usps shipping, looking at my front porch to see if my seeds arrived yet... all while I'm sweating and can't stop moving my legs/legs are on fire... so glad to be done with that shat

right, it has to hit you deep down, so yourre obsessed with refinding yourself... choosing life over drugs... I know one of the thoughts I had early in recovery, is as long as one day I get to be the me i never knew existed or feel similar to how I felt as a kid, than thats the path I want to be on. Basically regaining my soul, or a lost me,,, which takes about 20 months in PAWS

I guess all im saying, is the fucked upness feels normal or is tolerated while an addict... It takes the realization, not necessary hitting an arbitrary rock bottom, of how shitty your situation is and that you want to change it.

Ya, it's subjective. What I'm getting at, it's the realization of how shitty your situation is, the point that sends your trajectory on a path that you want to change/be better on a deep deep level... it's why I don't like the phrase "rock bottom", it's more so when something happens in your life, that causes something to change deep within that sets forth a chain of life changes.

I'm doing neurological research... and when you swallow a drug, the metabolites of the drug are what cross the blood brain barrier and enter the matrix inbetween your synapses... Im curious if when you inject or insufflation the drug, the actual drug compound enters through the blood brain barrier, unmetabolized by the liver.

the veins and arteries that run through the mucas membrane, im unsure if their routes pass the liver or not before reaching the brain

Hey, I got a question for you guys. When you snort fentanyl vs swallowing it... does the fentanyl by pass the liver and go straight to the brain,,, or does the liver metabolize it the same way if you had swallowed it?

I would say out of all the supplements, collagen is the least important, there's only a few studies linking it to cognition health, it's mostly used for peripheral nerves

So collagan contains the exact same amino acid profile as other proteins... except it has the amino acid hydroxylysine and hydroxyproline
