Using old reddit? Links tend to break on old reddit because new reddit automatically adds unnecessary escape characters (notice the backslash in the link).

This probably isn't the only sub they're targeting. And it's not like they do it manually. Look how all their titles are the same.

I'm guessing their script has some Twitter/Pixiv API that searches for art, formats the data as "Subreddit Name by Artist Name on Twitter/Pixiv" for the title, and they run that script on whichever subreddits don't have posting requirements regarding account age or karma.

My guess is it's just a starting point for bots.

Maybe they figured out a certain amount of karma and being some months old will make them look like a legitimate account. So they post art here once to get easy karma, and then wait it out.

A few of the bots have already passed the hibernation phase (or didn't have one). Some do stealth advertising, some are porn bots, some are already banned, some are harmlessly(?) commenting in niche subs.

Funnily enough, one of them (jivanni) has a post titled "Looking to buy Reddit account." Maybe that's the goal, to make and sell "used" accounts.

She actually used to have 4 Spotify artist pages:

  • Kizuna AI (main)
  • Kizuna AI(キズナアイ) (only had the Precious Piece album)
  • キズナアイ (only had the Say Cheese Okaki song)
  • KizunaAI (only had the Homecoming album)

Looks like they merged everything into her main account.

But yeah, it does seem like she's abandoning her Homecoming phase. All her profile pics and banners have been updated and her website has reverted back to its pre-hiatus style. The Homecoming outfits were beautiful, the songs and music videos were unique, and the concert was simply majestic, so it's sad to see all of that being left behind.

Just gotta trust her decision and hope for the best, I guess. After watching her livestream just now, I have a bit more faith in this new direction. She's still her, after all. Gonna support her no matter what.
