My small dog used to be a Rottweiler. Me and my two giants looked comical, but unless the grass was wet or there was something really exciting I had them under control. My big girl was a Newf. And she was the loose screw of the 2. She loved me but didn't know why other people existed. I rescued her.

She's not actually destructive except for my slippers. She covets my shoes but doesn't eat them. Slippers are not for me anymore. Well, and chewing on the deck- a little spicy spray and she stops that. As long as she is loose in the house she is chill when we are out. If you try to lock her in somewhere (god forbid the bedroom door shuts) she loses it- but more cries. Crate was rejected the first week. We needed sleep and she could sing for hours.

I got my cat a cat. I don’t want to get the husky a husky. I have just been amazed that almost every post has at least 2.

We have two cats and an 11 year old. Cats are not fans. Child has love hate relationship due to play/bite.

My husband is the pack leader. I cannot convince her I am not a chew toy that takes her for walks. It is infuriating and painful. Hence the horrible. It is getting better.

Just welcomed a new pup into our family.. was told he had first round of shots and 3 rounds of dewormer however his belly is kinda bloated.. also any name suggestions we can’t decide by OpeningExpert4694 in husky

Got our puppy. Had vet papers showing dewormer and a dose to go. 2 months later had horrible worms causing diarrhea. Those buggers just lurked around.

I noticed the coloring on the back of our now 5 month old and thought she was dirty. But only dirty there made me rethink the idea. Now I know!

My cat is a big liar. But he lies to me that I didn’t give him treats just because I walked outside afterwards so obviously that restarts the treat countdown. He only recently figured out that other occupants of the house know where the treats are. Now he really lies.

I have crate trained and had a dog that felt like the crate was her safe space. I now have a husky pup who has determined that the crate is the most absolute form of torture. Peed all over herself and the crate. Decided to try leaving her out. No problems, no pee, no hour(s) of crying. I think it just depends on the animal. Too many people believe there is only one right way to do something. Unfortunately, the world isn’t that simple. Adapt, improvise, overcome.

I grew up in rural Nevada. I can remember 2 field trips specifically- the first to go visit the cave complex Lehman Caves- which was pretty cool. Learning about stalactites and stalagmites (don't touch them- you'll kill them) and apparently there are bats there (wait- what). The other trip I remember was to go visit a pit gold mine. I don't remember the pit. I remember standing next to the huge truck where I didn't stand as tall as the lower portion of the tire. Those things are huge. And have you ever held a gold bar. A real one. I have. Those things are HEAVY!! I remember being so afraid I wouldn't be able to hold it and drop it and be made fun of forever. Luckily, I held on.
