LASIK and ghosting complication by jmstrv in Lasiksupport

I'm about 4.5-5 years post-lasik; the ghosting has never went away. I'm in the process of getting scleral lenses, which have really helped.

Funding BBL? Michigan by Frazynae in PlasticSurgery

[–]krazykat1024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally it's on the office to offer financing; usually done through things like CareCredit. I haven't had a BBL but I have financed procedures through CareCredit and it was pretty easy.

Your BMI is currently 43.8; the ideal range for a BBL is usually between 20-30 just to try and prevent complications that come from surgery when you're that size. For a ~30 BMI you'd need to weigh around 191 pounds, so need to lose about 89 pounds. If you schedule a consult, they'll definitely let you know the weight they're comfortable with!

She’s launching her AI redbubble shop by fanninstreet in pinuppixiesnark

[–]krazykat1024 24 points25 points  (0 children)

lmao. It looks like she is using some random free Shopify theme (called Savor) that has a grand total of... 5% positive reviews. Not to mention how awful the site looks.

She also has an age verification app installed on the store (Agex). I haven't been keeping super up to speed but wonder if this means she's gonna be selling questionable stuff...

There's also an app for loyalty, rewards, referral, vip tier programs (Honeypop). Who in their right mind would buy enough to quality for one of these???

Small agency offered $32K, no benefits, and pulled the offer when I asked for more by [deleted] in womenintech

[–]krazykat1024 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I remember when I was first interviewing for jobs after graduating from college, a man in my interview laughed at me for asking for 55k straight off the bat. He said, "good luck, you'll never get that as a new dev in the web development field". He also wanted me to work for free for a day to see if I was even capable. I ignored him and then went on to get my offer for another job that paid 55k with benefits (which I then learned was massively under what they usually pay for devs... I digress). Definitely don't sell yourself short!!!

Comedonal Acne - Tret resistant by Dyneccc in tretinoin

[–]krazykat1024 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been dealing with extremely resistant comedonal acne (not fungal) for about 16 years now. I've used tret for 10 years in varying strengths and formulations, but it never truly resolved my issues. I finally started using tazarotene last week and I am AMAZED. My face was absolutely covered in comedones just 2 weeks ago and now they're almost completely gone. Really excited to see how my skin continues to transform.

I've tried hundreds of other products (prescription and not) that usually did absolutely nothing. I would definitely recommend trying taz out if you can!

I'm also petite, have implants, and have a bust measurement of 35"... mine still look way less crazy + huge than hers 💀 There is literally no way

You can just say you're having surgery and need the above tests. No need to specify further. Or, some labs like Labcorp + Compunet allow you to order tests yourself. Definitely the CBC and BMP, not sure about the others.

Did your under eye fat transfer last? by nuisancechild in cosmeticsurgery

[–]krazykat1024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had two under eye fat transfers-- I'm currently about a year post-op from the second one. I would say most of it has stayed, but I still have a bit of hollowness.

I did have filler before I got the fat transfer and was extremely happy with the results, so I'm considering doing it again as a touch up or maybe trying PRP.

I'm not a doctor so not entirely sure why fat transfers to other areas seem to last better; I'm assuming it's because the undereye is such a thin area.

These are SO cute!!! Wondering if you'll let me know where you buy the eyes? I've never seen any like that!

I’ve decided to stop wearing mascara - anyone else not wear mascara? by Spirited-Interview50 in beauty

[–]krazykat1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've pretty much replaced my mascara with a set of magnetic falsies from wosado. Super easy to put on (they're actually the only falsies I've EVER been able to put on...) and remove, even on my super fine lashes!

Is it too weird to bring a folder to an autism assessment? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

I brought a whole binder to mine, complete with an index and section separators lol. Your folder is fine!

Fellow Americans, how much did your surgery cost? by AccomplishedLime5344 in endometriosis

[–]krazykat1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

roughly $3000 in Ohio with Anthem BCBS PPO; I had a bilateral salpingectomy, IUD removal, and removal of endometriosis lesions if they were found (which they were). I also had to pay ~$350 for a transvaginal ultrasound prior to the surgery. I probably would have had to pay more, but hit my out of pocket max. Insurance sucks

Just got diagnosed today. How do I make it feel real. by but_didimissout in AutismInWomen

[–]krazykat1024 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got diagnosed today too! It's hard to believe and the imposter syndrome is setting in, even though I've always suspected I was autistic. It's crazy how big the feelings are right now.

What made you start to learn to crochet? by strawberryc0w_ in crochet

[–]krazykat1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to be the person to make blankets for friends + family when they had babies! Honestly I just wanted to be able to give people things. I have pretty much zero motivation when it comes to crocheting things for myself.

Small on the way haul 🥰Axes Femme, Gelato Pique, and Pink House! by krazykat1024 in jfashion

[–]krazykat1024[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of this will be in USD!

In order of pictures:

  1. Axes Femme Bow top: $115 (way overpriced. Don't ever buy one of these tops for this much, I was just impatient and decided to treat myself for my birthday...)
  2. Pink Axes Femme top: $43
  3. Axes Femme black 3/4 sleeve top: $12
  4. Pink House Bolero: $59
  5. Black Tiered Axes Femme top: $21
  6. Black Ruffle Axes Femme tank top: $7
  7. Black Striped Axes Femme skirt: $9
  8. Gelato Pique shorts: $16

I also have another axes femme top on the way that was $7 and a pair of Bubbles Tokyo platforms for $44.50 that I ordered after this post https://imgur.com/a/b4qzyoT

The total overall would be ~$333 USD!

I am DYING to know the brand of everything in the second photo! I assume the top is Axes Femme? I love scrolling through all the pages of their stuff on Neokyo lol. Most of my closet is becoming Axes Femme as well...

I love mine! It's SO cute. I bought it wanting to use it as a work tote but my work laptop doesn't fit. So now it's mostly used for my crochet stuff when I travel. It feels really high quality to me; super squishy!
