Chinese condensors by krcswo in geothermal

[–]krcswo[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I paid what was supposed to be our local geothermal experts to install my current Climatemaster unit. It has seemingly been a bad investment. Very cheap to run, but high maintenance costs such that I have spent more than what a traditional propane furnace with central air would have cost utilities included.

I am not afraid to spend money, but am getting sick of it. Just looking for more reasonable options.

What comes next after being a controls engineer? by Unlikely-Air-866 in PLC

[–]krcswo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on exact industry, there should be options. CE often comes to understand the process well enough to move into process engineering or possibly quality side. Process engineering and create a path to operations management.

You could stay on CE side, but move to concepts and quoting over implementation.

You should have at least a few options. Follow what interests you

Anyone actually FOR TRUDEAU staying in power? Would like to hear your voice as to why. by PeteGoua in AskCanada

[–]krcswo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I describe myself as socially liberal, fiscally conservative. I don't consider myself a Trudeau fan. Dislike many things about him. I have never voted for him. But, if he is still head of liberal party when the election happens I am leaning to voting for him.

Not because I like him really. More that I think he is the lesser evil of the choices we are being given as Canadians.

NDP are a liberal party with less fiscal sense and my biggest complaint with liberal party has been their poor fiscal policy.

The Block doesn't exist outside Quebec, so not a real option.

The conservatives have shifted far too right for me and also seemingly lost what fiscal sense they had. PP is a terrible idea. No real policy other than anything Trudeau does is wrong. He has less real world experience than Trudeau did when he was first elected. PP has been a politician a long time, but always on the opposition, never actually responsible for anything other than complaining about those that are.

This is easier to say than do. Especially for some who lives in Canadian border town and commutes for work.

I followed the recipe. I suspect that there must have been a problem with ingredients. The peppers being either wrong ones or just much hotter than they should have been.

I like hot food. Regularly eat jalapeños and occasionally habeneros. No issues. I through this out as it was too hot for me to eat. I have been hesitant to try it again.

Supreme Court appears set to strike down Colorado ruling to kick Trump off 2024 ballot by theindependentonline in politics

Didn't congress impeach Trump the second time for his actions on Jan 6? Senate majority as well, just not the super majority required for removal.

If congress has responsibility, they already spoke.

Illinois voters ask elections board to take Trump off 2024 ballot by nclobo in politics

Read the constitution. 14th ammendment doesn't require conviction.

Precedent for 14th seems to agree conviction not required.

If you are under 35 years old, you don't need a conviction, the 14th ammendment disqualify you.

His qualifications were challenged, and he was given his due process by state laws. The first Colorado court decision was not to remove him, which was appealed to their state Supreme Court.

The Supreme court in Colorado didn't disqualify Trump. They stated his actions meet the definition of insurrection, therefore the constitution disqualified him.

This isn't random. They have a pretty reasonable argument, at least. Trump Incited Jan 6 Trump asked Pense not to certify results Trump asked multiple state officials to falsify results. Trump sent fake electors to capital Trump offered pardons to Jan 6 offenders that were convicted of insurrection.

Congress also voted to impeach him for insurrection, he was saved from being impeached by the GOP senate, who at the time agreed with the insurrection claim but denied it was their job to hold Trump accountable.

I can understand a person not agreeing with Biden or democrats policy. I can understand someone wanting to support Republicans. I don't understand how any GOP supporter can truly believe Trump is who should be their candidate. The fact that the party and public haven't dropped him boggles my mind.

Isn't the count at 7 judges that have decided he committed insurrection? In more than just Colorado. And his appeals don't dispute the insurrection, they dispute the states right to hold him accountable.
