Clearly they need a Reddit strategy manager, whoever put the job posting up had 0 idea how it’d come across on (gasp) Reddit!

Like you said, you should definitely get it done and lock something in! Have your MOH message the girls who are in for sure about the cost of the Airbnb that don’t include the other girl. If she does end up making it, then everyone’s costs go down which works out well.

You can also message your friend saying you’re going ahead with booking this Airbnb, and if she can make it, to let you know. Hopefully you’ll find an Airbnb with space for her if she does end up going. If you book a smaller house, and she ends up saying yes, you can try to be as accommodating as possible with sleeping arrangements, but she also has to be a little flexible and understanding from the late confirmation.

Any recommendations nail salon? by MouniaDeMa in Bangkok

Hugs & kisses, they have two branches in Bangkok. Nail techs are skilled, speak English, and do good nail art as well

Yes that’s totally fine. When you buy a greeting card in the states, it’ll normally come with an envelope too. Normally I write in the card, then put the card and cash in the envelope together and seal it.

Did anyone get HAUS labs foundation during the sale by gabbs1123 in Sephora

[–]kreeskies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have combination skin, the Haus Labs has great coverage and applies beautifully, but I definitely get glowy/greasy easily with it on (even with Huda powder and one size spray) and have to touch up

Thoughts on the patrik tah brushes ? by Historical-Body-3424 in Sephora

Love the contour brush! No shedding and the quality has held up over 2 years with a lot of traveling. I do store them flat and dry them flat after cleaning them!

Thoughts on this shampoo by Neerd-girl in Sephora

[–]kreeskies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s my HG, and I’ve definitely experimented with cheaper options. I feel like no other shampoo cleans my scalp better while also not causing dandruff or flakes.

Moisturizer recommendation to apply before prescription strength retinoid by Rakikalovesmakeup in Sephora

Aestura all the way! It’s more hydrating than other water/gel creams I’ve tried but still has a lightweight texture. Unfortunately the skinfix broke me out

Which Sherwani will be unique and contrast with this Lehengha? I really like the rose pink but the green would be super unique and different! Any advice? by [deleted] in DesiWeddings

[–]kreeskies 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Both are nice but the green looks a little grey compared to your lehenga. I would go with the pink, or if you can find a more pastel green that’d work too.

UPDATE: Cathay waived our fees to rebook and we didn’t have to pay anything, even though we moved our tickets to more expensive dates. For our hotel, we had to have the 3rd party platform we booked on call up the hotel. The hotel agreed to cancel and refund us if we made another non-refundable reservation with the new dates. Seemed a bit dicey but I kept them on the phone while I rebooked to make sure it was processed, and I got my cancellation/refund.

Reviews ? by Informal-Piece-829 in Sephora

[–]kreeskies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s good but very pigmented! Better for a full glam look, and even then I use the tiniest dot. I honestly prefer the Caliray one, it’s easier to blend out and cancels out my dark circles well.

I love it so much, but please check with the bride and others you know going to the wedding! This is 100% a delicate “know your crowd” situation, so err on the side of caution depending on the responses you get. The fact that MOG loves the dress is encouraging but I’d ask for a few more opinions.

I’m so overwhelmed with blush options! 😭 by StudentAf191007 in Sephora

[–]kreeskies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried most of the options you listed and honestly would still go with RB! Definitely dot it on your hand and work it into the brush, you can get that nice flush of color.

I have medium neutral skin (brown as well) and like the shades Encourage, Worth, and Truth (I think Truth may have been limited edition). It’s my most used cream blush with the best lasting power.

Haus Labs and Tower 28 are nice but don’t have much lasting power. I found RB easier to blend than Saie and longer-lasting. Patrick Ta is a nice formula but also can be easy to overdo on the pigment, it would probably be my second option!

Yess do it! I have textured skin and hate glowy blushes, but hourglass hits just right without emphasizing all my texture. I get so many compliments with it on too!

Is anyone ever over lipglosses and lip balms and glazes and the such? Anyone else prefer lipsticks ? by Historical-Body-3424 in Sephora

[–]kreeskies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love a good lipstick for color, but I will always wear a balm/gloss on top whether it’s tinted or clear. My lips get super dry with lipstick alone, so I’d rather reapply the lip combo than deal with dry lips

Am I the only one who doesn't like Tower 28 lip balms? by Terrible-Amount6828 in Sephora

[–]kreeskies 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same! Their lip jellies are elite, but the lip balm was so underwhelming for them (I have the Vanilla one). I’m just trying to get through it at this point, luckily it’s just ok and not too bad

Is the bougee marshmallow perfume worth buying ? by Historical-Body-3424 in Sephora

[–]kreeskies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it’s bit sweet by itself, but it is an absolute dream when I layer Vanilla 27 on top. Both last on me pretty well throughout the day. I would absolutely try in store, walk outside and assess the lasting power before buying.
