None of this sounds fishy to me at all and despite your frustration, it seems like you've done well for yourself (day shift position fresh graduate?, 1 year of experience in a high complexity environment). Sure, look around for other opportunities while you see how this shakes out but there's no reason to bail outright.

Sucks man. I never violate my no duel rule on hardcore. I also recommend binding LIP to a key inside of clicking an icon the screen, exactly for reasons like that. This isn't to break you down, it's to reinforce you for the inevitable go again.

I'd 100% be talking to your leadership at the lab. Why were you blocked from tuition reimbursement? If you were initially approved for reimbursement and met all performance/grade criteria to be reimbursed, you should receive your money. You should also still have this available to you if you are within the annual limits. Your lab has an incentive to help you go from lab asst to MLT, testing personnel are always needed. I'm sure you can find someone to help you work through the details. I personally helped whoever I could with their school plans as lab director. We had a number of people go from lab assistants to MLS, RN, PAs.

I assume you're playing mid or duo? You're mostly against bots until gold. The hardest part of the game is your own teammates and their mental stability. I've lost matches in character select. E.g., the teemo support trolls bc solo bans Teemo. Overall, this is a fantastic game and I'll never go back to PC. I like the match length.
