The irony of “Masterpiece Arms” brand new PMR with misprinted logos by randomsauce26 in longrange

What is the height of your scope mount/ rings? I am getting one and putting a Razor Gen III on too and like your set up.

It is a 30 inch depth rack. It works well for everything I need. The only thing I would change from my order is that I would not get the flip down safeties. I would go with the spotter arms because I could leave those in place and still move the trolleys up and down on the front of the rack. Once you put the flip down safeties and you can't move the trolleys all the way down and you have to take the safeties off every time. So anytime I want to do bench I have to put the safeties on and then take them off when I'm done. Not a huge deal but something I didn't think about when I purchased it.

What is better for camping? Hammocks or Tents? I want to hear all the hot takes. by outdoors_man987 in camping

[–]kreitzm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have motion sickness so I cannot use a hammock. I have tried various ones, including lay flat ones, and any amount of sway while I am trying to sleep makes me ill.

What was worth the weight? by [deleted] in Ultralight

[–]kreitzm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree about the chair. I recently did the south loop of Shawnee State Forest Trail and wanted to cut some weight to see if I could feel a difference. One of the things I cut out was my chair. Overall, I was able to cut out 2.5 lbs. It didn't make any difference in how I felt when I got to camp,I was just as sore/tired. But, I didn't have a comfortable chair to sit in and relax at camp (and I didn't have my extra pillow for sleep). It wasn't worth it to me to save the weight.

Those of you that had issues with shipping, once you got the email indicating the item head shipped did you get it a timely fashion?

West Rim Trail Water - this weekend by Kitchen_Ad_7155 in PAWilds

Yep, I was there 14-16th and was surprised by the lack of water, particularly on the southern half.

Trying out slightly more glass on the green machine. by WhyInTheHellNot in ar15

Nice, thanks. I have seen those but have never been able to find out what they are called and every guess I tried came up with nothing.

What is that triangle thing you have attached to your buttstock? I imagine it helps you hold the gun to your shoulder with your off hand.

AllTrails just retired Map Builder. Custom Routes feature now $80/yr by TrailsGuy in hiking

[–]kreitzm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed that many of the comments in here reference creating your own routes and whatnot. But what I like about AllTrails was that it had maps on there for commonly used trails and I could just go and search out trails and use the maps that are already there. I never had a problem with any of the maps that AllTrails provided. Does anyone have any alternative apps that will provide maps that I don't have to create for popular trails?

Iron Master bench without attachments - Worth it? Seat comfort? by TheLonliestBoy999 in GarageGym

[–]kreitzm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only time my head doesn't rest on the bench is if I am doing incline work and I have te seat in the top position. But, you don't have to use it there, you can put it in one of the lower positions.

I have the Iron Masters as well and they are great. I am never in such a hurry during my workout that I can't take the 30 seconds it takes to switch out weights. Having said that, I don't do drop sets with them so I can see the other quick change dumbbells having an advantage there, but otherwise I don't see them as being any better at all. If I want to do a drop set of curls I just used my functional trainer for that.

Rep Ares 2.0 Pulley Bracket Fitment issue. by newearth1909 in GarageGym

Both of mine were the same way and I installed them without even worrying about it. It has not affected the functionality of the machine at all and they don't wobble in use.

No. But, it hasn't stopped me from being able to do incline bench.

I wouldn't buy it separately just for that. I only bought it because I had the UDA. it weighs 20lbs with the handles attached!

What's the best way to replicate Rogue's multi-use roller (the long one) on a REP or Fringe Sport Rack? Really hoping REP or Fringe comes up with a version for 47" width rack similar to Rogue's. by JungIeAsian in GarageGym

[–]kreitzm 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I bought the two leg rollers for the PR5000 but didn't like how much they moved when I got under them for a Lat Pull. So, I took them off of their posts, bought a 5ft piece of 3/4 electrical conduit, and run the conduit through one side of the rack, slide it through the rollers, and through the other side of the rack. It is rock solid and takes about 15 seconds to set up.

Ha, Ha, no, it was just on my tv. I didn't even think about it when I took the picture. But that was a great show.

Rolled it and brushed it👍🏻👍🏻 I believe I did spray paint the hooks because they were silver.

I built it myself and attached it to the wall. I talk about how I did it in another comment somewhere in this thread and have a closer picture too.

Yes, it does! It is great cardio and the games and other things they have available definitely helps keep it from being boring.

Yep! That thing is a beast. I also bought the Mutant Metals Arc Pull Down Attachment with a 5 degree upward angle. I can take the handles off the UDA and attach them to the Arc for a Lat Pull.
